Methods are further disclosed for preparing these compositions, as well as various applications of using them. Other compositions comprising oxidized crystalline insoluble alpha-glucan are also disclosed.

摘要: Methods of vulcanization using a high content sulfur polymer, instead of elemental sulfur, have been developed. These high sulfur content polymers are referred to as Chalcogenide Hybrid Inorganic/Organic Polymers (CHIP) materials and have good polymer compatibility in that they are soluble in a number of polymers. Furthermore, CHIP materials may have weaker bonds than the S—S bonds of elemental sulfur and thus provide for a higher crosslinking efficiency vulcanization.

摘要: Methods are provided for processing a latex stream that include adding an isocyanate to a foam head that converts the latex stream to a foamed latex stream. A curing agent also may be added to the foam head. Also provided are methods of making a carpet that include disposing a foamed latex stream that includes an isocyanate onto a carpet fabric, or a support material to form a carpet backing. Carpets made by the methods herein also are provided.

摘要: A process for producing a wet rubber masterbatch yielded by using, as raw materials, at least a filler, a dispersing solvent, and a rubber latex solution, comprises a step (i) of mixing the filler, the dispersing solvent and the rubber latex solution with each other to produce a filler-containing rubber latex solution, a step (ii) of solidifying the filler-containing rubber latex solution to produce a filler-containing rubber solidified product, and a step (iii) of dehydrating the filler-containing rubber solidified product to produce the wet rubber masterbatch. At the time of representing the temperature of the filler-containing rubber solidified product before the dehydration in the step (iii) by T1 (° C.), and representing the temperature of the filler-containing rubber solidified product after the dehydration by T2 (° C.), the following expressions (1) and (2) are satisfied: T1≤100 (1) 80≤T2−T1≤160 (2).

摘要: A problem which is addressed is the provision of a method for manufacturing a wet rubber masterbatch that will serve as raw material for vulcanized rubber which excels in fatigue resistance, ability to achieve reduced heat generation, and tensile characteristics.A wet rubber masterbatch is manufactured by means of a method comprising an operation in which a latex that has magnesium present therein in an amount which is not greater than 150 ppm is prepared; an operation in which a liquid mixture is made; and an operation in which the liquid mixture is coagulated to obtain a coagulum. The latex comprises rubber particles for which the 90 vol % particle diameter is not greater than 2 μm. The operation in which the liquid mixture is made comprises a step in which the latex and a dispersion solvent are mixed together. The operation in which the liquid mixture is made further comprises a step in which a slurry that contains filler and a latex solution obtained as a result of the step in which the latex and the dispersion solvent were mixed are mixed together. The operation in which the coagulum is obtained comprises a step in which the coagulum is separated from waste liquid. The method for manufacturing the wet rubber masterbatch satisfies Formula I, below. a/b≥65 (Formula I) (At Formula I, a indicates COD (mg/L) of waste liquid, and b indicates amount (mass %) of rubber present in the liquid mixture.)

摘要: The present disclosure provides for a process for manufacturing of dipped latex products without using any animal derived ingredients and dipped latex products produced by said process. The disclosed process successfully over comes drawbacks of drop in product yield (due to coagulum formation) and burst pressures caused by absence-of casein in latex formulation. Therefore, the dipped latex products so produced through the process have final composition similar to that of any other dipped latex products with casein except for absence of casein and having 0.8 phr of Sulphur as against 0.6 phr of Sulphur in routine manufacturing. The products also exhibit physical properties similar to that of any other dipped latex products with casein, such as burst pressure and burst volume.
