摘要: Summary. The Technical Field is Filtration. The Problem is limited filtration consisting of gravity fed existing technology which is inefficient. The Solution is to create a process for small Distillers and Brewers to efficiently carbon filter spirits and brewed beverages to enhance taste, color, clarity and reduce alcohol levels, in finished products. Use enables instant variations in carbon capacity during processing and easy exchange of different carbon media between processes. The process provides affordability and flexibility to small operators based on their unique product, timed and controlled by the operator. This pressurized loop includes testing and tasting stations for measurement and quality control, flow controllers and measurement control, all within a loop system for a complete continuous process which does not exist today. With this Closed system, a mixing tank provides limited product. The Open system draws product directly from the operator's equipment.

摘要: A crack filling method includes forming a first drill hole in a concrete structure, with the first hole extending into a crack formed in the concrete structure. A test hole is additionally formed in spaced relation to the first drill hole. A baseline flow test is conducted by directing a test liquid into the test hole to determine a baseline flow characteristic. A filling substance is injected into the first drill hole and into the crack to at least partially fill the crack. Subsequently, a quality flow test may be conducted by directing the test liquid into the test hole to determine a quality flow characteristic following hardening of the filling substance in the crack. The quality flow characteristic may be compared to the baseline flow characteristic to determine an effectiveness of the crack filling.

摘要: A system and method is presented for product substantiation and promotion redemption. A purchased product list is transmitted from a retail store system to a promotion analysis server along with a user identifier. The promotion analysis server identifies promotions available to the user, and then considers whether the benefits under the promotions are still available to the user. Discounts for available promotions related to the purchased product list are calculated and transmitted to the retail store system for deduction from the transactions. A promotion product filter can be provided that filters the purchased product list before transmittal. The promotion product filter can include promotions from a plurality of programs.

摘要: The invention relates to a bend limiting structure for preventing a flexible optical circuit from being bent too sharply. More particularly, the invention involves adding a bend limiting layer or layers to the flexible optical circuit and/or any housing or other structure within which it is enclosed or to which it is attached. The bend-limiting layer may comprise a plurality of blocks arranged in a line or plane and joined by a flexible film that is thinner than the blocks, with the blocks positioned close enough to each other so that, if that plane of blocks is bent a predetermined amount, the edges of the blocks will interfere with each other and prevent the plane from being bent any further. The blocks may be resilient also to provide a less abrupt bend-limiting stop.

摘要: An improved dental apparatus that can treat Class II or Class III malocclusions without the need for braces, that can be repaired outside of the patient's mouth, that can be temporarily removed by the patient, that can be fitted, calibrated, set up and adjusted outside the patient's mouth prior to installation, and that is inexpensive. It utilizes universal torsion springs with accurate bending forces assembled with linear members of varying lengths to make a curved intrusive vector force device connecting teeth aligners that apply gentle constant forces to correct underbite and overbite conditions.
