    摘要: According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a plumbing drain assembly is disclosed which includes a plumbing outlet box, a Y connector, and an air intake valve. The plumbing outlet box has a back wall and four sidewalls that extend outward from the back wall to form a cavity. The Y connector includes a first and second drain channels. The first drain channel is mounted in the cavity and has opposing first and second ends. The second drain channel merges with the first drain channel between the first and second ends. The air intake valve is mounted to the first end of the first drain channel, and is configured to allow exterior air to enter into the first drain channel through the first end, and prevent internal air from exiting the first drain channel through the first end.

    摘要: An environmentally-friendly hose plug may include an insertion section having a size selected for plugging a hose. The insertion section may be attached to a knob at a distal end of the hose plug through a gripping section. The gripping section provides a number of ridges to improve a technician's ability to handle the hose plug. The insertion section reduces the exertion of force by fluids in the hose against the hose plug. Thus, the hose plug is less likely to be forced from the hose by fluids in the hose. The insertion section may include one or more sealing rings for further reducing the leakage of fluids from the hose.

    摘要: A composition and method is provided for modifying sperm fertility in mammals for the purpose of biasing the gender in favor of male offspring. The composition includes an amount of a class of compounds of phenoxazine or phenothiazine, having the structure (FIG. 1) and ionic derivatives thereof, wherein R1 is H, a lower alkyl group or N(R3)2, R2 is N, S, O, and R3 is H or a lower alkyl group. A second component of the composition is an amount of a hexose sugar or the phosphorylated hexose esters of such. When mixed with living sperm prior to or at the time of insemination, the composition results in modified rates of conception and an alteration of the birth sex ratio.
