Abstract:
A wrench includes a body having a mounting hole. Three first driving portions and three second driving portions are formed in the inner periphery of the mounting hole, and the first and second driving portions are located alternatively to each other. Three first recesses and three second recesses are formed in the inner periphery of the mounting hole, and the first and second recesses are located alternatively to each other. Each first recess is connected between the first and second driving portions. The mounting hole is used to mount to an object which is rotated when the wrench is rotated.
Abstract:
In an approach for sampling a distribution of segmentations of an image, the segmentations are based on a level set function. For each sample of the distribution, the sampling includes the following, for each of multiple iterations: randomly selecting a set of locations of the level set function, determining a domain of allowed perturbations of the level set function at the selected set of locations, and randomly accepting a perturbation of the level set function according to a criterion corresponding to a biased distribution over the domain of allowed perturbations of the level set function, wherein the bias is selected to increase a probability of accepting the perturbation. The sampling also includes determining the sample of the distribution of segmentations according to a perturbed level set function determined in a final iteration of the multiple iterations for the sample.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus for facilitating a payment collection process by enabling a patient to pre-authorize payment for future medical services not covered by the patient's healthcare payer. Rather than sending a statement to a patient instructing the payment to remit an outstanding balance, a practice management system automatically applies electronic funds for the patient's outstanding balance in accordance with terms of a contract executed between the patient and the medical practice at the time of service. By including contract terms such as a predefined maximum charge amount and limited contract duration, patients may feel that their electronic account information is safe and that they will be billed only for what they owe. Additionally, medical practices may have better assurance that remittance for medical services will be paid promptly by patients under the terms of the contract.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an adjustable hinged door closer, including a seat with the first and second cylinders, and a first and a second elastic linkage unit. A double-threaded regulator is incorporated onto the first connecting rod of the first elastic linkage unit, so as to change the compression of the spring and regulate the closing/restoring force of the door body. The double-threaded column of the double-threaded regulator has a double-thread that shifts to two thread pitches by just making one rotation, thus facilitating the fine-tuning easily. The elastic linkage unit and the regulator are structurally configured to be assembled externally, and then mated with the connecting seat of the door closer.
Abstract:
A power amplification circuit includes two identical and independent power amplifiers and a balance/unbalance converter. The balance/unbalance converter has a balanced terminal for inputting two signals with opposite phases and an unbalanced terminal for outputting a converted signal. The balanced terminal includes a first balanced pin and a second balanced pin to which two signals with opposite phases are applied. Furthermore, the input pins of the two power amplifiers are separately connected to the balanced output pins of an RFIC to independently amplify the power of the output signal on the balanced output terminal of the RFIC, and then the output pins of the amplifiers are connected to the first balanced pin and second balanced pin of the Balun. Therefore, the power of the output signal transmitted on the unbalanced terminal is multiplied by two.
Abstract:
A programmable logic device includes a plurality of logic blocks. Each logic block includes a plurality of macrocells, with each macrocell being configurable to register a sum of product term output. In addition, the macrocells within each logic block are arranged from a first macrocell to a last macrocell. Each macrocell is associated with a carry-in and a carry-out signal. The macrocells are configured to support a carry cascade such that the carry-out signal from the first macrocell becomes the carry-in signal for the second macrocell, and so on.

Abstract:
A scraper includes two shells juxtaposed and soldered together, a blade combined with the two shells, and a connecting member combined with the two shells. Each of the two shells has a receiving space, a plurality of first soldering portions, a first opening, a first slot, a second soldering portion, and a third soldering portion. The blade has an operation portion and a first mounting portion. The first mounting portion extends through the first opening into the receiving space and has a fourth soldering portion combined with the second soldering portions of the two shells by soldering. The connecting member is located in the receiving space and has a second slot aligning with the first slot. The connecting member has two ends each provided with a fifth soldering portion combined with the third soldering portion by soldering.
Abstract:
A tool includes a first body, a rotary member, a positioning unit and an engaging unit. By the positioning unit and the engaging unit, the rotary member is positioned relative to the first body with dual-positioning feature. When the first body is rotated, the rotary member is positioned by the positioning unit and the engaging unit. The rotary member is not likely to freely rotate because both of the positioning unit and the engaging unit fail when using the tool.
Abstract:
A leveling spacer system includes a multiple plates, multiple spacers and multiple knobs. The spacers are threadedly connected to the knobs to clamp the panel members, and the plates are used to connect the spacers and the knobs together with so as to clamp more panel members. The plates and the knobs are located on the top of the panel members, and the spacers are located at the underside of the panel members. When the panel members are leveled, the knobs are removed, and the necks on the spacers are broken to finish the leveling of the panel members.
