    摘要： The subject invention is a fixation device or anchor intended to secure a graft ligament or other soft tissue repair. The device is designed to be attached to a graft ligament and to secure the graft within a bone tunnel by extending transversely across the opening of the tunnel. In certain procedures the device is intended to pass through a bone tunnel in an orientation generally aligned with the tunnel and then turn transversely. The device has an inherent tendency to rotate upon exiting the tunnel to thereby become automatically transversely aligned with the tunnel and the graft ligament. The rotation is due to a moment automatically created as a resultant of forces applied to the anchor by a pulling-suture via a laterally offset aperture joining the pulling-suture to the anchor.

    摘要： An absorbent mat includes top and bottom layers of thermoplastic material with absorbent media disposed therebetween. The top and bottom layers are bonded directly together, or to the absorbent media disposed therebetween, in spaced-apart bond sites. One or more perforations are formed as a result of bonding in the top and/or bottom layers in a peripheral portion of each bond. Each perforation is in communication with the absorbent media and provides a pathway through which liquid can pass. The top and bottom layers may be monolithic thermoplastic film with an aperture formed therethrough at each respective bond by stretching the multi-layer absorbent mat. One or more perforations are formed in the peripheral portion of each bond site thereof as a result of stretching. Each perforation is in communication with the absorbent media and provides a pathway through which liquid can pass into the absorbent media.

    摘要： A system and method for defining and translating chat abbreviations. A system is provided for modifying messages in real-time based on an identity of an intended recipient, including: a rules database that includes rules for translating chat abbreviations based on the identity of the intended recipient; a system for identifying a chat abbreviation in a message; and a rules engine that associates a set of rules from the rules database with the intended recipient and applies the set of rules to the chat abbreviation identified in the message. Also included is a system for providing composite definitions of chat abbreviations in a multi-lingual chat session based upon a locale and a language of a sender and the intended recipient.
