A crank press includes an encoder measuring an angle value of a servo motor, a strain detector module generating a converted load value associated with deformation of a machine body, a memory storing at least one relation between an angle value and each of an upper torsion limit and an upper load limit, and a controller calculating a torque command value based on a position command, reading the upper torsion limit corresponding to the measured angle value, determining whether the torque command value exceeds the upper torsion limit, outputting the torque command value when negative, and outputting the upper torsion limit when affirmative. The controller further stops the servo motor when the converted load value exceeds the upper load limit corresponding to the measured angle value.

Provided herein is a structure for use in an electrochemical cell system. The structure includes a dry component housing (180) including a plurality of dry components (110), including an anode (112) and a cathode (132). One end of the dry component housing comprises an electrolyte concentrate (solid or liquid) reservoir (150). The electrolyte concentrate reservoir and the dry components are in fluid communication via a flow control device (170), aperture (172) or system (170a). An electrochemical cell is formed using the structure, in addition to a source (262). When the water is added in the proximity of the electrolyte concentrate reservoir, diluted electrolyte is introduced through an electrolyte flow control device, structure or system, the cell is activated.

A saw gripping device for a cutting machine includes a main body having a lug formed on an external sidewall thereof; a control member slidably sleeved onto the main body and having an inclined annular convexity formed on an internal sidewall thereof and a stopping portion extending slantwise from an end thereof toward the other end thereof; and a spring having two ends fixed to the main body and the control member respectively to be located therebetween for keeping the inclined annular convexity lying against a stopper slidably inserted into the main body and to keep the stopping portion lying against the lug. In light of this, the control member can be prevented from incorrect action during the reciprocating motion of the cutting machine. In addition, where the stopping portion lies against the lug is variable subject to the thickness of the cutting saw.

The present invention relates to a topical cosmetic composition that has improved non-oily feel comprising: (a) a hybrid silicone composite powder having a spherical shape with particle diameter ranging from 2 to 10 μm, of which each particle has a composite structures consisting of two interpenetrating polymer networks of polydimethylsiloxane (PMS) and polymethylsilsesquioxane (PMSQ). These two interpenetrating polymer networks are joined together by physical entanglements instead of chemical bonds; (b) a volatile cosmetic fluid; (c) a silicone fluid with viscosity ranging from 2 to 350 cSt; (d) an oil base consisting of an oil, wax, oil gelling agent or the mixture thereof; (e) a surface active agent; (f) a cosmetic pigment; and (g) an optional aqueous gel containing glycerin, glycols and an aqueous thickening agent. The cosmetic composition provides an improved skin sensory feel and a superior matte finish, and is useful for skin treatment, makeup and personal hygiene products.
Abstract:
An optimal sampling pattern for variable density sampling of a continuous signal uses a statistical knowledge of the signal to determine an autocorrelation matrix from which a basis set is identified. Sampling is performed at locations determined from an eigenvector matrix, and the sampled output provides coefficients for the basis set. The reconstructed signal output is a summation of the multiplication of the coefficients and the basis set.
