    摘要: A system for automatically setting up a truck-mounted pump driven by an engine for pumping operation, comprising a transmission control having a visual indicator and coupled to a transmission of the truck, a pump control having a visual indicator and coupled to the pump, a prime control having a visual indicator and coupled to a prime pump, a master system control switch operable to receive operator input, and a main controller in data communication with the transmission control, pump control, prime control, and the master system control switch, the main controller receiving an input from the master system control switch to initiate pump setup operation, and automatically transmitting alert signals to the visual indicators of the transmission control, pump control, and prime control to provide visual guidance to the operator in the proper sequence of steps to set up the pump for pumping operation.

    摘要: A combination loading system and hose bed for a firefighting vehicle includes a platform and an actuating mechanism configured to pivot the platform between a substantially vertical stowed position, a substantially horizontal position, and a downwardly angled position. The platform includes a bottom wall and a pair of side walls extending substantially perpendicular to the bottom wall. When in the stowed position, the platform closes the substantially open rear end of the firefighting vehicle, and when in the substantially horizontal position, the platform can serve as a hose bed allowing firefighters to easily grab hose from a standing position. When in the downwardly angled position, the platform can serve as a ramp allowing the firefighters to wheel equipment on and off the vehicle. The platform may also be provided with a crane extension for lifting heavy objects.

    摘要: Storage assemblies and bucket accessories for material-handling vehicles are provided. One assembly includes a storage compartment consisting of a planar shelf extending along the top edge of the bucket, a back wall extending upwardly from a rear edge of the shelf, and a pair of side walls that extend perpendicularly to opposite ends of the shelf and back wall. A pair of free-standing, elongated orientation rods project upwardly from the top of the back wall of the storage compartment. Tie-down straps at the end of the orientation rods are provided for securing material in both the bucket and the storage compartment. A pair of rack elements for supporting opposite ends of elongated items such as pipes may also be provided. One of the hooks may be secured to one of the orientation rods and the other hook may be secured to the roll bar of the vehicle.

    摘要: A firefighting apparatus comprising a controller, and a hydraulic pump driven by a power-take-off and operable to supply a hydraulic fluid under pressure. A water pumping subsystem is powered by the hydraulic fluid and operable to supply water under pressure to a conduit, wherein a flow rate of water is substantially regulated by controlling the hydraulic fluid input to the water pumping subsystem. A chemical foam subsystem is powered by the hydraulic fluid and operable to inject foam at a predetermined flow rate into the conduit, wherein the flow rate of the foam is substantially regulated by controlling the hydraulic fluid input to the chemical foam subsystem. An electrical power generator subsystem is powered by the hydraulic fluid and operable to generate electrical power, wherein the frequency and voltage of the generated power is substantially regulated by controlling the hydraulic fluid input to the electrical power generator subsystem. A hydraulic fluid cooling device receives and cools the hydraulic fluid returned from the water pumping subsystem, chemical foam subsystem, and electrical power generator subsystem. A hydraulic reservoir further stores the cooled hydraulic fluid.
