    摘要: Method and apparatus for providing dynamic testing of electronic assemblies during their manufacture. A production line includes a communication network to interconnect assembly and inspection equipment. Events impacting the manufacture of the assemblies are communicated among the equipment, allowing the testing to be dynamically adjusted in response to events. Dynamic adjustment allows the process to quickly detect defects introduced by events. The concept is illustrated with a production line that has a pick and place machine and an inspection station. When an operator changes a reel of components at the pick and place machine, the inspection station will switch test programs to quickly verify that the correct reel has been loaded.

    摘要: There is provided in a tire changing apparatus of the type having a base, a table on the base for receiving a wheel and supporting the wheel during a tire servicing operation, and a plurality of jets at spaced locations about the table disposed to direct a fluid stream towards a wheel supported on the table, the improvement including a liquid lubricant reservoir and a system for selectively directing a liquid lubricant from the reservoir to at least some of the jets to impinge upon the wheel. The presence of the lubricant assists in tire demounting operations and the seating of beads on tubeless tires.

    摘要: A dynamic electric wheel balancer for measuring the imbalance condition in a vehicle wheel and indicating the position and correction weights required for balancing the wheel in one or two planes. The wheel balancer contains a rotating shaft in order to make the dynamic measurements. The shaft is freewheeling during measurement and is brought up to a predetermined minimum r.p.m. value through a motor and clutch arrangement. In order to take the measurements, piezoelectric sensors are used to measure the vertical force components exhibited by the imbalance condition of the vehicle wheel secured to the rotating main shaft. The measured force components are converted into digital form. The balancer finds the definite integral of each of the forces generated by the piezoelectric transducers and uses the cross correlation data generated by these integrations to find the zero crossing points and the peak determinations. Also forming part of the wheel balancer is a device for compensating for velocity variation taking place during the freewheeling rotation of the main shaft. The compensated data is processed and displayed in an eye readable format to tell an operator where to place a weight and how much the weight should be in order to correct the imbalance condition in the wheel.

    摘要: A personal financial management system, method and program that models past current and projected financial transaction data. Each object represents a single financial entity such as accounts, loans, assets or expenses, or a financial activity such as account transfers, deposits or withdrawals. A graphical user interface enables the user to create objects and place the objects on a graphical time line simulating financial activity from all selected objects over a selected time span. The graphical user interface also allows manipulation of the graphical objects and enables future projection of planned financial transactions. The planned financial activity is tightly bound to past and current spending and budgeting, enabling the user to match current activities to planned activities, and to identify and correct discrepancies and shortfalls in projected activities. A to-do list provides the user with reminders of planned actions to be conducted. Customized objects may also be created by the user to satisfy special financial requirements.

    摘要: A dynamic electric wheel balancer for measuring the imbalance condition in a vehicle wheel and indicating the position and correction weights required for balancing the wheel in one or two planes. The wheel balancer contains a rotating shaft in order to make the dynamic measurements. The shaft is free wheeling during measurement and is brought up to a predetermined minimum r.p.m. value through a motor and clutch arrangement. After measurements have been made, a solenoid actuated brake, which takes advantage of the force factors associated with a flywheel forming part of the main shaft, brings the rotating shaft to a halt. Prior to taking the measurements, the wheel balancer is calibrated by employing a known weight located at a known position on a face plate forming part of the main shaft. In order to take the measurements, piezoelectric sensors are used to measure the vertical force components exhibited by the imbalance condition of the vehicle wheel secured to the rotating main shaft. The balancer finds the definite integral of each of the forces generated by the piezoelectric transducers and uses the cross correlation data generated by these integrations to find the zero crossing points and the peak determinations. The data is processed and displayed in an eye readable format to tell an operator where to place a weight and how much the weight should be in order to correct the imbalance condition in the wheel.

The securing means includes a channel shaped tube, secured to the cylinder, and a mating connector, secured to the shoe. A pair of locking apertures in the connector are selectively aligned with a pair of adjustment apertures in the channel shaped tube to set the stop position of the shoe at the full extension point of the cylinder.
