    摘要: A toroidal elecrical transformer having a low voltage coil, a high voltage coil and an annular magnetic core is disclosed. The preferred low voltage and high voltage coils are each continuous and form an arcuate elongated passage therethrough. The preferred annular magnetic core is wound in place in said arcuate elongated passage substantially from a continuous strip of magnetic material resulting in a toroidal transformer with continuous windings and a continuous wound core.     摘要: A fuse holder for a transformer comprising a generally tubular housing secured at one end to the transformer end wall and enclosing the fuse. A tapered resilient adapter sleeve is disposed within the outer end of the housing and carries a bushing well for a high voltage line adapter. The adapter sleeve seals the housing interior. An annular clamp secured to the transformer wall holds the adapter sleeve and fuse holder housing in place. The inner end of the air type fuse is connected to the transformer primary winding by a helical coil spring compressed between a projection on the fuse and a stainless steel tube. The fuse and bushing well are removable by detaching a clamp ring on the outside of the transformer and slipping the parts out through the adapter sleeve and housing. The construction permits immersion of the air type fuse and insures isolation and de-energization of the internal transformer parts upon opening of the fuse.

    摘要: A fastener for securing elongated objects in a centered and spaced apart arrangement includes a base and a bracket attached along one edge of the base and extending in an overhead manner above the base. The bracket includes a first overarm spring and a second inwardly extending leaf spring which are separated by a beveled entry nose portion proximate a front end of the base. An objected is press fitted between the nose portion and the base so as to be resiliently engaged by a finger portion of the leaf spring. A pair of protrusions extend from the finger portion in a direction facing the base and act upon the object or objects inserted to both center and space apart in a parallel fashion the objects.

    摘要: A coolant displacement material for a liquid cooled transformer consisting of a plurality of glass spheres having one or more closed voids to provide a specific gravity which is greater than oil so that the glass spheres remain submerged without need for securing devices and is substantially less than the specific gravity of solid glass material so as to not unnecessarily contribute to the weight and consequent shipping cost of the coolant displacement material and the completed transformer assembly. The spheres provide venturi-like flow passages which enhance thermal transfer between the transformer and the coolant by increasing the flow velocity of the coolant to break down surface-effect thermal barriers. The glass spheres are sufficiently small in size to conform to a substantial portion of the space between the transformer and tank. The wall thickness of the spheres at their exterior surface is sufficiently great so that the glass spheres are substantially non-disintegrating during loading of the spheres into the tank.
