摘要: An inductor for a converter of an electric machine includes a core defining a channel configured to receive transmission fluid on an outer surface of the core. Coils made of windings are wrapped on the core. The windings enclose an open side of the channel to define an oil flow passage, wherein oil flowing through the oil flow passage is in direct contact with both the windings and the core to absorb heat from the windings and the core.

摘要: An electrical transformer system includes an electrical transformer and a depressurization system in fluid communication with an outlet of the electrical transformer. The depressurization system may include a rupture disk housing assembly, a rupture disk cartridge, and a removable cover. The housing assembly may include a container having an opening and cavity to receive the cartridge and first and second flanges to connect to duct piping of the transformer. The removable cover may enclose the opening of the housing assembly. The cartridge may include a rupture disk secured between first and second disk support plates. The cartridge may be pre-assembled outside the housing assembly. The cartridge may be removed from and/or installed in the housing assembly through the opening. The rupture disk may be inspected, serviced, and/or replaced without disconnecting the housing assembly from the duct piping.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a tank of a high-voltage generator including a tank body and a tank lid. There is an opening in the tank lid. The opening is connected to the bellows so as to counteract the volume change of the transformer oil and avoid generation of bubbles. The tank includes a positive transformer, a negative transformer, a bellows, and other components. The high-voltage winding is embedded in the PCBs. The outer insulating bushing is covered by the PCBs so as to improve the insulativity between the turns of the high-voltage winding. In addition, oil barriers may be placed between the positive and the negative transformers, or between the transformers and the ground so as to eliminate the bridge breakdown effect and make the electric field uniform. By means of said measures, the present disclosure improves the stability of the high-voltage generator.

摘要: A method of analyzing dissolved gas in an oil-filled transformer includes determining a centroid of a polygon that represents a plurality of dissolved gas concentrations. A fault region in which the centroid of the polygon is located is determined, where the plurality of fault regions are defined in a composite fault region map that is a composite of a Duval Pentagons 1 and 2. The method classifies a fault experienced by the transformer based on the determined fault region within the composite fault region map. The classification is done by a machine learning classification technique. Further embodiments classify faults based on dissolved gas levels without determining a centroid of a polygon representing the dissolved gas levels. Related systems are also disclosed.

摘要: A method of determining polymerisation of transformer insulation within a transformer. The method includes the steps of measuring a first and second moisture activity of oil in a transformer, and a first and second temperature of the transformer. The method further includes calculating the ratio of the gradients of the moisture equilibrium curves associated with the moisture activity and the temperature. The calculated ratio can then be used to characterise the polymerisation of the insulation and age of the transformer.

The housing part comprises an electrically conductive material and has an open mounting side to be connected to the electric component. A surface-to-volume ratio of the housing part is at least 3 m-1, and a ratio of the volume and a wall rupture pressure of the housing part is at least 0.02 m3MPa-1. A corresponding electric system is operated so that, when an electric arc occurs in the housing part, the housing part absorbs a pressure rise that is led into a component tank.
