In one aspect, requests to place an order are received from a remote location, and based on a customer identifier included in the request, customer preference data is retrieved. An electronic selection menu based on customer preference data is transmitted to the customer, the order is received and prepared. The customer's arrival is automatically detected, and the completed order is provided to the customer.

摘要： In general, in one aspect, a method for developing an asset by competition includes specifying standards for an asset, receiving from potential contestants indicia of interest in participating in an asset development competition in which the contestants compete to develop an asset, and determining an estimated likelihood that the asset development competition will result in an asset that meets the minimum standards based on historical information about the performance of the contestants from whom the indicia of interest were received. Steps may be taken to increase the estimated likelihood of success, upon a determination that the likelihood is less than desired. Steps may be taken to prevent registration by additional participants, upon a determination that the estimated likelihood is at or above a predetermined threshold.

摘要： A self-supporting post leveling device (10) operable to both level and support a post (12) or other structural or support member, such as, for example, a pole or beam, during erection or installation. The device (10) broadly comprises an adjustable sleeve (14), including two post adjustment mechanisms (16,18); two leveling mechanisms (20,22); and two, three, four or more legs (24,26,28,30). The post (12) is received within and substantially surrounded by the sleeve (14). The post adjustment mechanisms (16,18) tighten to immobilize the post (12) within the sleeve (14). The leveling mechanisms (20,22), such as, for example, fluid bubble leveling mechanisms or laser leveling mechanisms, may be secured to or incorporated within the sleeve (14). The legs (24,26,28,30) support the sleeve (14) and the post (12) immobilized therewithin.

Determining the position of the home device and other devices within range allows the user of the home device to choose the specific wireless devices with which to communicate. Distance can be determined by a variety of methods including use of trusted references, signal strength, and error rate.
