摘要： A hydraulic flow dividing and proportioning system is provided for use in conjunction with a multi-function mining vehicle. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the hydraulic system is employed for powering a roof bolting vehicle having the power requiring functions of drill rotation, drill thrusting and vehicle tramming. The system, utilizing a single hydraulic pump, provides for the efficient and selective pumping of hydraulic fluid to those power requiring elements when necessary. The system additionally includes a hydraulic flow proportioner which provides for a smooth and even tramming transition from a stop condition to full drive condition.

摘要： A mine roof-truss-bolt system and a novel clip for use in such systems are provided. The system includes opposed anchor members installed in the roof, a reinforcing member located in a passage below the roof and extending longitudinally to locations past the lower ends of the anchor members, and clips abutting the roof for connection with the anchor and reinforcing members. The system also includes apparatus for placing the anchor and reinforcing members in tension for additional support of the roof. The members are connected to the clips at locations of substantially the same elevation on the clip below the mine roof.

摘要： A universal non-spreading railroad track haulage tie and support therefor characterized by opposed rail supporting channels, coaxially aligned with the rails of a railroad, the channels being secured together and against the rails respectively by a tie gauge rod; including a modification for securing the tie rod and assembly to angle joint bars or splice bar assemblies which are conventionally used in the fitting of standard A.S.C.E. type rails and the like. The invention has particular utility in electric underground railway tracking. It may be affectively adapted to enchanced highway crossings of a railway, to repairs to existing conventional wood tie constructions to curves and switches of the steel railway, etc.

摘要： A roof drilling apparatus is provided for drilling a plurality of equally spaced holes in a mine roof. The apparatus includes a rotatable base upon which is mounted a drilling mechanism, thereby effecting a circular locus of travel to the drilling mechanism. Assuming equal angular separation between successive positions, the drilling mechanism may conveniently bore a multitude of equally distanced mine roof holes for accepting conventional roof bolts and supporting the roof without dislocative movement of the apparatus. The apparatus may be configured as a single or double unit or may be formed as an attachment to almost any conventional mining vehicle.
