摘要: There is stored in a memory an association between each nth one of N content types with a respective nth group of N groups of identifiers (N is an integer greater than one, n indexes from 1 to N, and at least one of the groups has more than one identifier). A beacon sender selects one of the content types for a beacon to be transmitted and selects a beacon identifier from the group associated with the selected content type. The beacon to be transmitted is compiled to include content of the selected content type and the selected beacon identifier. The beacon receiver selects at least one of the content types; and for a plurality of beacons received, filters out from further processing each beacon having a beacon identifier that is not within the group of identifiers associated with any of the at least one selected content types. The network creates the association and broadcasts it in a network cell.

摘要: Example methods and apparatus for communicating encoded data blocks in wireless communication systems are disclosed. In one example embodiment, a method for receiving an encoded data block includes receiving a data transmission including a subset of a plurality of bits of the encoded data block. The example method also includes receiving a first control signal indicating whether the received subset is a first received subset associated with the encoded data block or whether one or more subsets were previously received for the encoded data block. The example method also further includes receiving a second control signal, the second control signal having a first state and a second state. In the example method, the first state of the second control signal indicates that the received subset includes a first predefined subset of the plurality of bits of the encoded data block and the second state of the second control signal indicates that the received subset includes one of a plurality of other predefined subsets of the plurality of bits of the encoded data block. In this example embodiment, determining which of the other predefined subsets is included in the received subset is based on one or more system parameters of the wireless communication system. Further in this example, the state of the second control signal is selectable between its first state and its second state on a data transmission by data transmission basis, regardless of whether or not one or more subsets of the encoded data block were previously received.

摘要: In an exemplary embodiment there is sent to a user equipment UE downlink control information DCI comprising an indication of an access codeword and an indication that at least one component carrier CC is activated for the UE, and there is received from the UE the access codeword which is an acknowledgement that the UE has activated the at least one CC. The access codeword is received on an uplink channel which a) lies in the at least one activated CC if there is an activated uplink channel in the activated CC, or b) is previously activated if there is no activated uplink channel in the activated CC. In another embodiment DCI comprising the above two indications is received from a network, the received indications are used to select and access the at least one CC; and activating the CC is acknowledged by sending the access codeword.
