    摘要: A client computer is capable of designating one of a plurality access paths via respective servers on a file-by-file basis. The client computer defines a plurality of access paths to the storage device by way of the respective server computers (step S1). Next, when an access request defining a file within the storage device is received, the client computer determines a relay server computer which should provide an access path to the file, out of the server computers, according to a predetermined rule for distributing accesses to the storage device among the plurality of access paths on a file-by-file basis (step S2). Then, the client computer accesses the file within the storage device by the access path via the designated relay server computer.

    摘要: A jig for attachment and detachment comprises a frame. When the jig is set on the surface of a printed circuit board, a connector on the printed circuit board can be received in a connector receptacle opening defined at the lower end of the jig. The frame is designed to stand on the surface of the printed circuit board surrounding the connector. An electronic component can thereafter be inserted in an insertion opening defined at the upper end of the frame. The inserted electronic component is guided, by a guide passage defined in the frame, from the insertion opening toward the connector receptacle opening. The guided electronic component is received on the connector. The guide passage serves to allow the input/output pin of the electronic component to reliably enter the socket of the connector without any interference. An operator is released from careful observation for alignment of the electronic component with the connector with his own eyes.

    摘要: A cache control program that maintains a high cache hit ratio even in the case of a file of large size being accessed. A computer that executes the cache control program judges whether transferred data specified by a data read request and data following the transferred data are stored in a cache area including a plurality of blocks (step S1). The plurality of blocks are ranked according to order of reuse. The computer preferentially selects a block of high rank in order of reuse as a block for storing nonstored data that is not stored in the cache area (step S2). The computer transfers in order the nonstored data in a storage device to the storage block (step S3) and reads the transferred data into a predetermined storage area (step S4). The computer judges whether there is continuity between the transferred data and data transferred just before the transferred data. If they are a continuous series of pieces of data, the rank in order of reuse of a block which stores a predetermined number of pieces of data from the head of the series of pieces of data is lowered (step S5).
