A liquid discharge apparatus includes circuitry and a memory. The circuitry generates density correction data corresponding to a reference printing condition, based on reference measurement data on a measurement result of a patch pattern printed under the reference printing condition, to control an image density. The memory stores difference data on a difference between measurement data of one or more printing conditions different from the reference printing condition and the reference measurement data. The circuitry generates density correction data corresponding to the one or more printing conditions different from the reference printing condition, based on the reference measurement data and the difference data stored in the memory.

An information processing apparatus comprising: a keyboard for inputting signals; a display part for displaying the signals input through the keyboard; and a pointing member attached to the keyboard and having a board, a strain gage and a post. The strain gage is furnished on the board. The post is erected at a center of the board to transmit strain to the strain gage. The post is further displaced so as to move a cursor on the display part. The board is attached fixedly to a back of the keyboard by means of screws. The post is inserted through a hole in the keyboard so as to protrude from a face of the keyboard.

The invention provides an information processing apparatus wherein a camera section has an improved performance and malfunction involved in use of the camera section can be prevented. The information processing apparatus includes a computer body having a keyboard on which a plurality of operation keys are provided. A display section having a display screen thereon is supported on the computer body for pivotal motion around a fixed axis between a covering position in which the display section covers the computer body and an uncovering position in which the display section does not cover the computer body and for pivotal motion around a second axis extending perpendicularly to the first axis. Further, a camera section is supported for pivotal motion on the computer body.

An image capturing apparatus includes a camera body having an image-capturing lens for receiving light to form an image of a subject and a display unit having a display screen for displaying the image. The display unit is slidably supported by the camera body. A surface of the display unit opposite a surface having the display screen disposed thereon faces a surface of the camera body opposite a surface having the image-capturing lens disposed thereon. An image capture button is disposed on the surface of the camera body opposite the surface having the image-capturing lens disposed thereon. The image capture button is exposed when the display unit is slid over the camera body in a first direction and the image capture button is covered by the display unit when the display unit is slid over the camera body in a second direction opposite the first direction.

An illuminating device and an information processing device are proposed to increase the portability of the reflex liquid crystal display. According to the present invention, in the display unit equipped with the reflex liquid crystal display of the notebook PC which is an information processing device, since the illuminating device, that is the front light unit having the predetermined light source and the light guiding plate to guide the light to be obtained from the light source is attached removable free so that the light will be irradiated evenly over the entire surface of the display screen of the reflex liquid crystal display via the light guiding plate, and the predetermined information to be displayed on the display screen will be transmitted through, as sufficient lights can be irradiated over the display screen under the poor lighting condition to the display screen of the reflex liquid crystal display, and can be easily detached when carrying the reflex liquid crystal display. And thereby the illuminating device and the information processing device capable of increasing the portability of the reflex liquid crystal display can be realized.
