    摘要: The present device relates to a sensor capable of detecting changes in the electromagnetic field it generates when in proximity to either conductive or nonconductive materials. This occurs by way of oscillating a transmit coil with an electro motive force at a resonant frequency thus creating an electromagnetic field. The magnetic field passes through a target of either conductive or nonconductive material and is then intercepted by a receive coil which likewise oscillates at a resonant frequency, which when in proximity to the transmit coil and transmit coils resonant frequency produces an enhanced signal by way of the interaction of the respective resonant frequencies and receive coil output.

    摘要: A sinusoidal structural member having a dual component flange is provided. In the preferred embodiment, the flange (both upper and lower) is comprised of at least two components. These two components can be produced by dividing the flange lengthwise; where the division plane is substantially parallel to the plane of the web, when observing a standard flange-web relationship; and the geometry of the division border substantially matches the sinusoidal geometry of the web. The two resulting flange components substantially complement one another; wherein the sine peak of one component fits within the sine valley of its corresponding component, leaving a gap sufficient to accommodate the thickness of the web to be interposed. The sinusoidal web, substantially matching the division pattern of the flange components, is compressively sandwiched between the flange components, with sufficient compression to bring the sinusoidal web within dimensional compliance. The flange components are fused to the sinusoidal web during the compression process. The resulting structural member simpler to manufacture, while still providing the strength to weight ratio required in many applications.

    摘要: A compression union for joining two tubing segments together in a sealing relationship. Each segment has a head and a compression shoulder, and a sealing face. A first and second nut are threadedly joined and compress the segments together. The segments pass through respective nuts. A thrust cap is adapted to be firmly clamped. It includes an axially-extending tongue fitted into a respective axial spline, so that tightening the nut together exerts only axial force on the sealing faces, and the thrust cap prevents counter-rotation of the tubing segments relative to one another.

    摘要: The present specification discloses an insert for a fluid product container that provides one or optionally both of a fluid aeration insert, that aerates the fluid product during the pour, and a cryogenic additive insert, that protects the fluid product container from exposure to the extreme low temperatures of a cryogenic additive, such as liquid nitrogen, that can cause damaging interaction with the container lining that exposes fluid product to the bare metal of the container, negatively affecting the flavor or safety of a beverage and/or causing structural damage to the container. The cryogenic additive insert provides a cryogenic additive tray having a cryogenic additive holding concavity that receives and hold a cryogenic additive during the filling process such that the cryogenic additive is isolated from the walls of the container. The fluid aeration insert includes a multiplicity of aeration openings through which the fluid product must flow during pouring.
