    摘要: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media for progressive band selection for hyperspectral images. A system having module configured to control a processor to practice the method calculates a virtual dimensionality of a hyperspectral image having multiple bands to determine a quantity Q of how many bands are needed for a threshold level of information, ranks each band based on a statistical measure, selects Q bands from the multiple bands to generate a subset of bands based on the virtual dimensionality, and generates a reduced image based on the subset of bands. This approach can create reduced datasets of full hyperspectral images tailored for individual applications. The system uses a metric specific to a target application to rank the image bands, and then selects the most useful bands. The number of bands selected can be specified manually or calculated from the hyperspectral image's virtual dimensionality.

The lower may be consistent with approaches to remediate a wearer's pronation or supination.

    摘要: A motorcycle flag holder mountable on a rear axle nut includes a main body formed from plate stock having spaced-apart first and second major planar surfaces. The main body has a regular-duodecagonally-shaped nut-securing aperture with a central an axis perpendicular to the major planar surfaces. The nut-securing aperture is sized to slide over the axle nut. The main body incorporates a slit that begins at an outer edge of the main body and terminates at an edge of the nut-securing aperture. First and second opposing portions of the main body on either side of the slit can be drawn together with a nut-securing bolt, thereby causing the nut-securing aperture shrinks in size and tighten around the axle nut. The main body also includes a flag staff retaining bore in which a flag staff may be secured with a thumb screw.

    摘要: A new class of fixed partial response targets are disclosed for use in a PRML magnetic medium read channel. The preferred embodiment exhibits an equalization response characterized by the polynomial 7+4*D−4*D2−5*D3−2*D4, where D represents the unit delay operator. This read channel target provides improved matching to the inherent magnetic channel over the known canonical class of targets (1−D)(1+D){circumflex over ( )}N, and thereby reduces equalization losses. The improved spectral matching reduces amplification of noise in the channel, thereby reducing bit-error-rates. The new class of targets also exhibits a spectral null at DC, reducing problems for offset cancellation circuitry and making the disk drive less sensitive to thermal asperities. It also exhibits a spectral depression rather than a spectral null at the Nyquist frequency, making quasi-catastrophic error sequences virtually impossible. The new class of target simplifies coding and allows RLL code ratios that approach unity, improving effective recording densities, while significantly reducing BER.
