摘要： A method for measuring a non-linear response from a target using an imaging apparatus includes transmitting a signal towards a region of interest from a transducer at a first amplitude and measuring a first response thereto, and transmitting, from the transducer towards the region of interest, at least one additional signal of the same phase as the first amplitude signal but at one or more different, lower amplitudes and measuring at least one additional response thereto. A difference of a function of the measured additional response or responses from the first response is determined, thereby obtaining a non-linear response of the object of interest, and a representation of the non-linear response is displayed.

摘要： A method for monitoring a target in a medical display in a medical imaging apparatus includes receiving echo signals from an area of interest of a patient, extracting raw data from the received echo signals, processing the extracted raw data to display a dual mode image on the medical display, and setting a location and displaying a first marker/cursor in a first image of the dual mode image. In addition, the method further includes determining a corresponding location of the marker/cursor in a second image of the dual mode image, and displaying a second marker/cursor in the second image of the dual mode image at the corresponding location simultaneously with the displaying of the first marker/cursor in the first image.

摘要： A system for displaying accumulated ultrasound images of tissue structures. A set of N image frames is used to produce a peak image display. Multiple peak image displays are produced by discarding the oldest image frame in the set of N image frames and replacing the discarded image frame with another more recent image frame. The more recent image frame is added to the set of image frames to produce a new set of N image frames. The new set of N image frames is used to produce another peak display image. If there is an undesirable amount of distortion or blur in the peak display images due to tissue motion, then the number of image frames in the set of N image frames can be reduced.
