Abstract: A stabilizing strut, in particular for a chassis of a vehicle, in particular a Watt strut, is described, said strut having an elongate strut body which is designed as a profile. The strut body is formed as a profile which is open on one side at least in some sections along its longitudinal direction and the two longitudinal edges of which are connected integrally to each other at least in some sections axially to give a closed profile. Abstract: Tetrahydro-1,3-thiazinium salts of the formula ##STR1## where X is an anion, R.sup.2 hydrogen or hydroxyl, and R and R.sup.1 are alkyl, hydroxyl substituted alkyl, or a heterocyclic ring, are prepared by reacting a secondary amine with formaldehyde and a 3-halopropanethiol. The salts are useful as pesticides and as sensitizers for photographic silver halide emulsions.
