    摘要: A Coriolis mass flowmeter that incorporates a straight Coriolis measuring tube, two straight connecting pipes, at least one oscillator stimulating the tube, a measuring sensor associated with the tube and a compensating cylinder, where the tube is positioned within the cylinder, the two end sections of the cylinder are solidly connected to the respective end sections of the tube, the tube transitions with either end section into a connecting pipe, the connecting pipes extending outside the compensating cylinder, and by means of mounting flanges provided on the external ends of the connecting pipes, the mass flowmeter can be installed in a pipeline system. Each connecting pipe meets the requirements of the formula M ⁢   ⁢ f 2 e ⁢   ⁢ i / l 3 > 5.5 where M is the mass of the cylinder, f is the natural frequency of the water-filled tube, e is the modulus of elasticity of the connecting pipes, i is the geometric moment of inertia of the connecting pipes and l is the length of the connecting pipes.

      摘要: A device for measuring the mass rate of flow which operates according to the Coriolis principle, with a measurement tube (1) and a magnet coil (7) of a bobbin (9) and a winding (10) attached to it for exciting and/or detecting vibrations of the measurement tube (1). The bobbin (9) of the magnet coil (7) has a specific thermal conductivity of at least 1 W/(K m). This enables the heat which forms in the magnet coil (7) to be efficiently dissipated to the surrounding vicinity without cooling elements, such as cooling fins, being necessary. In this way, the efficiency of the device for measuring the mass rate of flow using the Coriolis principle is altogether improved.

      摘要: An active-constraint robot (4), particularly for surgical use, is controlled by means of a series of motorized joints to provide a surgeon with real-time tactile feedback of an operation in progress. The robot system holds, in memory, a series of constraint surfaces beyond which it would be dangerous for the surgeon to go, and a resistive force is applied to the cutting tool (14) as the surgeon approaches any such surface. To improve the overall quality of feedback experienced by the surgeon, the resistive force applied to the cutting tool (14) depends upon the point of intersection (I) between the force factor applied by the surgeon and the surface. Further improvements are achieved by adjusting the tangential resistive force, when the tool is adjacent to the surface, in dependence upon the surrounding shape of the surface.
