摘要： A rule assembly includes a housing, a reel rotatably mounted in the housing, and an elongated blade having an end hook member on a free end thereof. The elongated blade is arranged to be wound on the reel and to be extendable through an opening in the housing. The end hook member is formed of sheet metal to include a mounting portion and a hook portion bent at a generally right angle from an end of the mounting portion. The end hook member includes a pair of generally upwardly extending side edges, a generally laterally extending lower edge, and recessed edge portions disposed at corner portions at which the upwardly extending side edges and the laterally extending lower edge intersect.

摘要： The invention provides curable coating compositions which have improved comparability with other coating compositions and which provide improved scratch and mar resistance. The compositions comprise a film-forming component (A), a catalyst (B) for the film-forming reaction comprising one or more strong acids having a pKa of 2.5 or less, and a volatile catalyst carrier (C) comprising one or more tertiary amines having a boiling point of 100 degrees C. The film-forming component (A) comprises one or more crosslinking agents (b) at least one of which is an aminoplast curing agent (bi) having from 0.5 to 3.5 moles of NH per mole of aminoplast curing agent (bi). The invention also provides a method of making thermally cured films having improved scratch and mar as well as a method of making multilayer-cured films.

摘要： A handheld flashlight includes a head that pivots relative to a body. Three legs pivotally connect to the body and open into a tripod to support the head in an elevated position. The legs are spring-biased toward the open tripod position and are selectively held closed by a detent mechanism. In the closed position, the legs form a flashlight handle that is aligned with an illumination direction of the head and is shaped and sized to be held in the hand of an operator. Each of the three legs contain battery source holders for battery sources that connect to each other in parallel. Diodes are disposed in series with each battery source to prevent the parallel battery sources from discharging each other.

The housing may include a side wall with a depression formed therein that is shaped to receive the hook for storage. The depression has an edge that allows the hook to securely engage. The housing may also include a translucent window for allowing the user to check the level of chalk in the chalk line device. The translucent window forms at least a portion of a wall of the housing. The translucent window can be made, for example, of a plastic and can be integrally formed with the housing.

摘要： A chisel includes a blade and a first handle and second handle that are each rotatably coupled to the blade. The first handle forms a first channel adapted to receive a first side of the blade and the second handle forms a second channel adapted to receive a second side of the blade opposite the first side. The two handles are rotatable between an open and a closed position. In some cases, the two handles comprise a rotatable coupling such that the first handle and the second handle rotate with one another in opposite directions between the closed and open positions. The chisel further can have an over-center structure configured to impede rotation of the two handles from the closed toward the open position. In some cases, the two handles each form an interlocking component adapted to releasably couple the two handles when they are rotated to the open position.

The relative positions of the first datum surface and the second datum surface are arranged such that when a fastener tool abuts the first datum surface and the second datum surface, a fastener applied by the fastener tool is positioned within a bounded area of the fastener receiving body.
