    摘要: This invention relates to a stable aqueous wax dispersion comprising A) from 5 to 65% by weight of micronized wax, the wax comprising an amide wax, polyethylene wax, modified polyethylene wax, polyethylene/amide wax, polyethylene/polytetrafluroethylene (PTFE) wax, polypropylene wax, modified polypropylene wax, polyethylene/polypropylene wax, polytetrafluroethylene (PTFE) wax or copolymers thereof or any mixture thereof having a mean particle size of from 1 to 100 μm and an acid number of less then 10 mg of KOH/g of wax and B) 0.5 to 20% by weight of a thickening/dispersing agent, comprising of a alkali swellable acrylic polymers (ASE) or a hydrophobically modified alkali swellable emulsion (HASE) or a hydrophobically modified ethoxylated urethane (HEUR) or a polymer containing both a high molecular weight acrylic copolymer moiety and a hydrophobically modified ethoxylated urethane as a thickening/dispersing agent or mixtures thereof C) 0 to 5% by weight of a water soluble base as a neutralizing agent D) 0 to 5% by weight of a surface active/dispersant agent E) 0 to 40% by weight of a polymeric binder or polymeric binders F) 0 to 5% by weight smectic clay thickening agent(s).

    摘要: A cement fluid loss composition which comprises an aqueous slurry of about 35 to about 90 weight percent of water based on weight percent of dry cement; and about 0.1 to about 2 weight percent of a terpolymer based on weight percent of dry cement, said terpolymer having the formula: ##STR1## wherein x is about 40 to about 98 mole %, y is about 1 to about 50 mole %, z is about 1 to about 50 mole %, y is equal to z, A is about 1 to about 50 mole %, wherein A, y and z are less than 60 mole % and M is selected from the group consisting of amines and a metallic cation being selected from the group consisting of lead, iron, aluminum, Groups IA, IIA, IVA, VIA, VIIA, VIIIA, IB and IIB of the Periodic Table of Elements.

    摘要: A cement fluid-loss composition and its use in a well cementing process are disclosed. The cement fluid loss composition comprises an aqueous slurry of about 35 to about 90 weight percent of water based on weight percent of dry cement; and about 0.1 to about 2 weight percent of a terpolymer based on weight percent of dry cement, said terpolymer having the formula: ##STR1## wherein x is about 40 to about 98 mole %, more preferably about 50 to about 95 mole %, and most preferably about 80 to about 90, y is about 1 to about 50 mole %, more preferably about 2 to about 20 mole %, and most preferably about 5 to about 10 mole %, and z is about 1 to about 50 mole %, more preferably about 2 to about 20, and most preferably about 5 to about 10, y is equal to z, B is about 1 to about 50 mole %, more preferably about 2 to about 20 mole %, and most preferably about 5 to about 10 mole %, wherein B, y and z are less than 60 mole %.
