摘要： Cementing compositions and methods of using such compositions in oil, gas and water well cementing operations to reduce fluid loss from the composition to the formation are disclosed. Such compositions incorporate certain copolymers and copolymer salts of N,N dimethylacrylamide and 2-acrylamido, 2-methyl propane sulfonic acid having mole ratios of between 1:4 and 4:1 respectively and average molecular weights of between about 75,000 and about 300,000.

摘要： Disclosed is a process for encapsulating in cement a boric acid slurry which is at least about 30% boric acid. To the sulrry is added about 3.5 to about 4.5% dispersing agent, about 0.02 to about 0.03 ml/g of a cement retarder, up to about 0.4% of a hardener, and sufficient cement to bring the weight ratio of water to cement to about 0.4 to about 0.6. Also disclosed is a cement composition produced by said method.

Distillation first runnings from trimethylol propane production containing 1,1-dimethylol propane as the main constituent are particularly suitable. The grinding aid according to the invention leads to a considerable improvement to the flowability or fluidity of the ground material, i.e. pack-setting or compaction thereof is prevented.

The material substantially consists of 5 to 70 parts by weight of a mixture, the mixture consisting of 49.95 to 87.3% by weight of hydraulic cement, 49.95 to 9.7% by weight of amorphous silica and 0.1 to 3% by weight of a dispersing agent, and 95 to 30 parts by weight of a heat-resisting aggregate. Premold product made of the above material is also disclosed.

摘要： Aqueous grouting compositions based on high alumina cement have the onset of setting delayed for upwards of one month by the incorporation therein of a set-inhibiting agent such as boric acid or gluconic acid delta lactone and can then be rapidly reactivated for use by the incorporation therein of a reactivator, for example lithium carbonate, to produce a high strength hardened cementitious composition. The reactivated composition can advantageously be used to anchor a reinforcing element such as a rockbolt or dowel in a borehole and for this purpose the set-inhibited cementitious composition and the reactivator can be packaged in the separate compartments respectively of a dual-compartment frangible cartridge.
