摘要： A method for presenting application list is disclosed, which is applied to an electronic device. The method includes activating a list arrangement program which reads several applications and generates categorized application list accordingly. Each application is associated with one of the categories, and includes objects representing the application. The categorized application list includes several groups, each of them includes a category name of one category and the objects associating with one or more applications under the category. The method further includes receiving the control command for displaying one of the groups at the index region of the user interface of the electronic device. The index region is arranged at the side of the user interface. Thus, an application list which is categorized may be provided for improving the convenience of accessing applications.

摘要： A volume control method is to be performed by an electronic device for adjusting intensity of an output audio signal outputted from the electronic device according to an external audio signal of an environment in which the electronic device is located. The volume control method includes: configuring the electronic device to receive the external audio signal; configuring the electronic device to compare a sound track of the external audio signal with a preset sound track and to make a determination as to whether a degree of similarity between the two sound tracks reaches a preset ratio; and configuring the electronic device to stop outputting the output audio signal when a result of the determination is affirmative.

摘要： An electronic device is adapted to be connected to a plurality of peripheral devices, and includes a storage unit and a control circuit. The storage unit records a preset time and a control list. The control list lists at least a selected one of the electronic device and the peripheral devices, and an operation mode therefor. The control circuit detects whether the preset time matches a reference time, and if so, controls operation of the selected one of the electronic device and the peripheral devices according to settings in the control list.
