摘要： The present relates to a remote control method and a remote control system capable of switching different pointing modes. The remote control method includes a detecting unit of a remote control detecting a relative position between a first module and a second module of the remote control so as to generate a detecting signal, transmitting a pointing mode code to an electronic device according to the detecting signal by wireless communication technology, and the electronic device performing movement of an icon according to the pointing mode code and pointing mode relation information.

摘要： An alarm and a detection and alarming method thereof are disclosed. The alarm is used to monitor a computer system. The alarm comprises a control module, a motion sensor and a user input interface circuit. The method comprises the following steps: activating an alarming procedure by the user input interface circuit; detecting whether a motion signal is generated or not; if yes, executing an instruction inputting procedure; determining whether a correct instruction is inputted or not; if yes, deactivating the alarming procedure; and if not, executing an alarm.

摘要： An electronic apparatus is disclosed. The electronic apparatus comprises a display module, a detecting module, a keyboard module and a processing module. The detecting module is capable of detecting a position of the display module. The keyboard module comprises a key portion and a plurality of light guide structures. The key portion comprises at least one physical key. Each light guide structure comprises a light source and a light guide element having at least one icon corresponding to the at least one physical key formed on a surface of the light guide element. The processing module can select a different light guide structure according to the position of the display module to show the at least one icon on the key portion corresponding to the position of the display module.

摘要： A control method for a backlight module of a liquid crystal display (LCD) is disclosed. The control method for the backlight module of the LCD includes following steps: capturing an image in front of the LCD by a camera periodically; recording time at which the image is captured when there is no human face detected in the image; calculating elapsed time, which there has been no human face detected in the image for, according to the recorded times; turning off the backlight module of the LCD when the elapsed time is longer than turn-off time for backlight.
