    摘要： An apparatus for receiving and protecting interchangeable camera lenses includes a cylindrical body shell having a rigid wall with a soft lined interior surface, a base end cap positioned at a bottom end to form a closed-end floor, and a mouth member disposed at a top end to form an opening sized to receive a camera lens. A lid cap is removably engageable in a two-stage rotational interference fit with the mouth member. In a first stage of the fit, the lid cap is translatable along the axis of the body shell, with respect to the mouth member, between a non fluid tight position and a fluid-tight position; and in a second stage, the lid cap is retained in a fluid-tight position. A kit for creating a customized ring includes a stabilizing disk of an outer dimension to frictionally engage the interior of the body shell, and a guide member.

    摘要： A protective case, typically configured to hold an electronic device within its enclosed central space, is disclosed. The case includes a body having roughly rectangular sides and a hinged lid. The lid may be held to the body by magnetic attraction when the lid is down. The lid may include a backup security mechanism in the form of a resilient shock cord that can be coupled to (or tether) the lid and the body. The case may also include a hanger configured to rotate between raised and lowered positions, where the hanger also includes a magnet configured to hold the hanger against the body when the hanger is in at least one of its raised and lowered positions.
