    Abstract: It is an object of the present teachings to provide a technique that rationalizes the structure of the brushless motor so as to save space in the power tool. According to the present teachings, a representative brushless motor utilized in a power tool may comprise a stator, a rotor and a cooling fan. The brushless motor is disposed within the power tool. The brushless motor is adapted to supply driving current to the stator to drive a tool bit of the power tool by rotating the rotor. The cooling fan is molded of a magnetic or conductive material so that the cooling fan also serves as a rotating position detector that detects the rotating position of the rotor with respect to the stator. Because the cooling fan may also have a function of rotating position detector of the rotor, the inner space of the power tool can be rationalized.

    Abstract: A blade for a reciprocating saw includes: an elongated body having one end that is detachably attachable to the reciprocating saw; and at least one hard tip having a greater hardness than the body and being bonded to the body. The body includes a cutting edge part having a plurality of teeth arranged along the length direction and a back part extending along the length direction on the side opposite to the cutting edge part in a width direction. The cutting edge part includes at least one curved part. The curved part(s) is (are each) configured so that a cutting edge line, which is a line connecting the tips of a plurality of teeth disposed along the curved part(s), curves in a concave manner toward the back part. The at least one hard tip is bonded to at least one of the plurality of teeth.

    Abstract: A working machine system may include a working machine, a working machine holder, and a detection mechanism configured to detect whether the working machine is held by the working machine holder. The working machine may be configured to be switched between a first state and a second state in which a predetermined switching manipulation is required to switch to the first state.     Abstract: An electric work machine includes a first brushless motor including a first stator and a first rotor combined with the first stator, and a controller. The first stator includes a first stator core and multiple first coils wound around multiple teeth on the stator core. The controller magnetizes the teeth to cause the first rotor to rotate about a rotation axis. In a plane orthogonal to the rotation axis, the first stator core has the same shape as a second stator core in a second stator used in a second brushless motor in another electric work machine. The first rotor can be combined with the second stator. The first rotor has a different number of poles from a second rotor used in the second brushless motor.
