    摘要: An apparatus for spring-assisted pivoting a liftgate or door against gravity between a closed position and an open position includes a torsion bar spring system with springs arranged in parallel in a meander pattern and connected with one another in fixed rotative engagement. An outer bearing-torsion bar spring and another outer lever-torsion bar spring are each supported in a support bracket of a tracker. The lever-torsion bar spring is connected in fixed rotative engagement with a length-adjustable lever guided in a control cam of the tracker. A coupling rod configured for translatory movement engages with the length-adjustable lever for rotating a hinged lever associated with the liftgate or door. An adjusting device is connected with the bearing-torsion bar spring in fixed rotative engagement and can be variably locked relative to the support bracket. A method for producing such apparatus is also disclosed.

The piston has a bottom dead center position and in the region of this position, the cylinder has an exhaust opening and a number of pairs of scavenging openings. The projection of the side surfaces of the pairs of scavenging openings extending in the axial direction of the cylinder each form a different angle at the point of intersection of the projections and the point of intersection is directed away from the exhaust opening. The projection of the side surfaces of the pairs of scavenging openings extending transversely of the axial direction form different angles with a plane extending perpendicularly of the axial direction of the cylinder.

    摘要: An apparatus for spring-assisted swinging of a liftgate in opposition to the gravity force between a closed position and an open position in a vehicle includes a spring energy store and a tracker which is coupled to the spring energy store for influencing a torque generated by the spring energy store. The tracker includes a coupling rod for rotatable actuation of a hinge lever articulated to the vehicle body and operably connected to the liftgate. To install the apparatus the coupling rod is temporarily fixed in a defined position corresponding to an installation position of the liftgate. The liftgate is held in the open position or in an intermediate position above the installation position and the apparatus is placed in the vehicle. After lowering the liftgate from the open position or intermediate position into the installation position, the coupling rod is connected to the hinge lever and then released.

    摘要: A four-stroke internal combustion piston engine includes at least two cylinders disposed in axial alignment opposite on another. Each cylinder has a piston axially reciprocal therein with the pistons in the two cylinders operating with a phase shift of 180.degree.. Each piston is connected by a piston rod to the same crankshaft located between the cylinders. Each piston moves between a bottom dead center at an inner end of the cylinder adjacent the crankshaft to a top dead center at an outer end of the cylinder spaced outwardly from the crankshaft. During movement of the piston from the inner end to the outer end, fresh air or a fuel-air mixture is drawn into the cylinder through a suction system and when the piston moves in the opposite direction a transfer system conveys the fresh air or fuel-air mixture into a combustion space formed between the outer end of the cylinder and the piston. Each cylinder has its own suction system and transfer system including check valves so that the supply and flow of the fresh air or fuel-air mixture is separate for each cylinder.
