    摘要: Cleaning compositions in the form of nano- or micro-emulsions and containing one or more green surfactants are disclosed. The composition may further include one or more green linkers. The presence of two or more green surfactants may synergistically improve the cleaning performance of the composition. Moreover, the presence of the one or more green linkers may also synergistically improve the soil removal or streak reduction performance of the composition. The composition may further include additional natural actives, such as natural fragrances, natural insecticides, natural insect repellants, and natural oils to provide prolonged release of the natural actives in a controlled manner. The green surfactants not only improve the ecological profile of the disclosed compositions but also allow the formation of stable micro- or nano-emulsions at room temperature with good cleaning performances.

Optionally, the composition can contain a photoinitiator. The composition is self-dispersible in water and is especially suitable for use as a coating material for a printing screen.

    摘要: A method for coating a textile includes applying a substantially water-free, energy-curable, polymer-forming composition to the textile and exposing the textile and composition to a source of energy under such conditions as to generate chemically active sites on the surface of the textile and polymerize the composition. The resulting polymer is grafted onto the textile. Preferably, the energy is derived from electron beam radiation. The composition includes an epoxy oligomer having at least two ethylenically unsaturated moieties, and at least one alkoxylated polyol monomer having at least two ethylenically unsaturated moieties and capable of being copolymerized with the epoxy oligomer. Preferably, the composition also includes a surface active agent capable of rendering the uncured composition dispersible in water. Optionally, the composition can contain a colorant, and photoinitiator. The composition is especially suitable for use as a screen printing ink and coating material for textiles.

    摘要: Eco-friendly, or “green”, cleaning wipes are disclosed. The wipes may include a substrate and a green concentrated aqueous cleaning composition impregnated therein. The wipes are dry to the touch before they are activated by water and applied to inanimate surfaces for cleaning. Because of the green concentrated cleaning composition and water-activation just before application, the disclosed wipes may clean larger surface areas and have longer shelf lives and lower weights for easy transportation, packaging and handling than conventional wet wipes that are pre-loaded with a diluted cleaning composition.
