In the alternative, the system also has at least one pre-defined set of rules accessible through a web interface, such that the configuration tool uses one of the pre-defined sets of rules to create the filter.

The system includes a video surveillance camera equipped with a coordinate engine for determining coordinates of a current field of view of the surveillance camera; and a frame encoder for embedding the determined coordinates with video frames of the current field of view. The system also includes a privacy zone information database for storing coordinates of predefined privacy zones; and a video viewing unit for viewing stored video frames. The video viewing unit is in communication with the frame storage unit and the privacy zone information database.

    摘要: A video surveillance system includes a plurality of video sources, where each video source is arranged to monitor and acquire video surveillance data within a field of view (FOV), a video manager connected to each of the plurality of video sources to control the video sources and to process video surveillance data acquired therefrom and a user interface connected to the video manager that allows an end-user to observe the FOVs from each of the plurality of video sources, and identify a region of interest (ROI) within particular FOVs to dynamically render a composite FOV comprising the ROIs from the particular FOVs. Where a video source includes enhanced abilities, such as a mega-pixel camera or video source, the enhanced video source may forward, instead of video data for the entire FOV, only that video dated from the selected ROI to realize reduced network traffic for more optimal video surveillance applications.

A security system comprising a plurality of cameras transmits data streams to a monitoring station. The data stream has metadata describing a plurality of attributes for the data stream. The monitoring station is equipped with a Graphical User Interface (GUI) to represent the plurality of data streams in various user-defined layouts. The method comprises generating a display layout for at least one of the plurality of data streams based on the plurality of attributes, displaying the display layout on one of a plurality of windows within the GUI, and providing the ability to recursively display a plurality of display layouts within the plurality of windows in any layout combination based on the attributes for the data streams within the plurality of display layouts.

    摘要: A system and method for providing digital video scan using 3-D geometry. The digital video scan system includes a 3-D scan scene maker for generating a plurality of video display units for displaying digital video data; a plurality of video producing devices producing a plurality of video feeds; a video scan sequencer receiving and organizing the plurality of video feeds into a predetermined order; a video rendering device rendering the digital video data from the plurality of video feeds for display within a separate one of the video display units; and video display apparatus displaying the digital video data from each video feed in the video display units. The plurality of video display units are positioned in a 3-D scene so that a plurality of video display units are at least partially viewable at the same time. Moreover, at intervals, the digital video data is incremented from one video display unit to another thus allowing an observer to view each digital video data in a foreground position. Furthermore, the observer is provided with a video data selector allowing the operator to select digital video data in one video display unit and move the selected digital video data to another video display unit.
