摘要: Magnetometry and pulsed electromagnetic radiation (EM) may be employed during a same survey pass by synchronously interleaving the collection of magnetometer data with pulses from EM sensors. For example, one or more magnetometers may be sampled between pulses of one or more EM coils such that the data from the one or more magnetometers is substantially free of artifacts from the pulsed EM radiation. A detection system may include a vehicle capable of locomotion over a surface of earth, a mount coupled to the vehicle, the mount including at least one magnetometer, at least one EM sensor adapted to produce pulses of EM radiation, and a controller adapted to interleave collection of data from the at least one magnetometer between the pulses of EM radiation.

摘要: A weighted tarp for providing a waterproof covering that can remain in position without the need for cables, bungee cords, external weights, or other fasteners. The tarp includes a multi-layer sheet having a first and second layer of waterproof or water-resistant material. The first and second layers are coextensive and are preferably secured to one another via an adhesive. A plurality of weights is disposed between the first and second sheets. The weights are preferably flat disks and are arranged in a grid, such that the weights are spaced at fixed intervals. The weights help to maintain the tarp in a desired position without the need for additional fasteners, and the weights serve to evenly distribute the weight of the tarp. The tarp includes grommets on the perimeter or corners thereof, allowing the user to further secure the tarp using cables, if so desired.

摘要: Various embodiments of systems and methods for extrapolating tabular structure to facilitate manipulation of elements in the freeform document are described herein. The freeform document includes an unstructured canvas providing users the ability to place one or more elements in the canvas. A primary column is determined by the selection of at least one element in the freeform document. Further, one or more secondary columns in the freeform document corresponding to the primary column are determined. A tabular structure in the freeform document is extrapolated based on the determined primary column and the one or more secondary columns to facilitate manipulation of elements in the freeform document, such as reordering, resizing and deleting the one or more elements, and inserting one or more new elements in the freeform document.

摘要: The game controller including at least one control such as a joystick which includes at least two modes of operation. The game controller includes an invert switch which enables a player to switch between the different modes of operation. In one embodiment, the game controller includes a control which has a normal mode and an invert mode. The normal mode enables a player to move the joystick up or forward to correspondingly move up on the game display or move the joystick down or backward to correspondingly move on the game display. Conversely, the invert mode enables a player to move the joystick up or forward to correspondingly move down on the display and also move the joystick down or backward to move up on the display. The game controller enables the player to switch between the different modes of operation on the game controller itself instead of through the video game system or software for the game.

摘要: An illuminator for a hand-held gaming or other electronic device is provided. The illuminator includes at least one light source contained within an enclosure that is rotatably mounted to a bracket. The bracket is rotatably mounted to a member secured to the gaming/electronic device. The bracket and light source enclosure can be rotated into multiple positions during use. During non-use, the bracket and light source enclosure can be rotated into a compact area for ease of transport. A diffuse light source, comprised of the combination of a fluorescent light and a diffuser, minimize ‘hot spots’ on the screen of the gaming/electronic device.

摘要: The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer-implemented methods for preventing overplotting for data visualization. An example method includes identifying a request to generate a chart including a plotting area indicating a set of data points to be displayed in the plotting area of the generated chart; determining that the requested chart will be unsuitable for display; dividing the plotting area into a plurality of bins, each having a shape configured to tessellate the plotting area in response to determining that the requested chart will be unsuitable for display; assigning each data point to one of the plurality of bins based on a position of each data point within the plotting area of the requested chart; and generating a modified chart including the plotting area of the requested chart including the plurality of bins each configured to indicate a number of data points are assigned to the particular bin.

摘要: Multi-spectral UV illuminators which can be used in common identification document authentication scenarios have been developed. These illuminators allow the use of multiple UV inks that respond to illumination at differing spectral frequencies to be printed into patterns. Such patterns make possible the production of ID documents which are more secure and harder to counterfeit.

摘要: The present invention provides an apparatus and process for plasma cleaning the interior surfaces of semiconductor processing chambers. The method is directed to the dry etching of accumulated contaminant residues attached to the inner surfaces of the plasma processing chamber and includes introducing a cleaning gas mixture of a halogen-containing gas; activating a plasma in an environment substantially free of oxygen species; contacting the contaminant residues with the activated cleaning gas to volatilize the residues; and removing the gaseous by-products from the chamber. The etchant gaseous mixture comprises an even or greater amount of at least one fluorine-containing gas and an even or lesser amount of at least one chlorine-containing gas. The instant invention enables the intermittent use of the cleaning steps in an ongoing plasma processing of semiconductor wafers without chamber downtime and significant loss of wafer production.

摘要: A multi-spectral Ultraviolet (UV) illuminator is described. The illuminator allows for the convenient reading of authentication patterns formed by UV inks. The novel illuminator is usable with inks of different spectral responses, allowing for reading many types of patterns with one device. The illuminator further provides the capability of producing multiple UV frequency illumination sequences, allowing for more complex, harder-to-counterfeit, authentication markings, such as animated patterning.
