摘要： A method of providing access to an IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) for a subscriber (UE) comprises the steps of providing an home interface entity (HGGSN) with access network data (MCC′,MNC′) identifying the access communication network (AN), sending a message comprising the access network data (MCC′,MNC′) from an home interface entity (HGGSN) to serving means (HSS), comparing the home network data (MCC,MNC) and the access network data (MCC′,MNC′), checking if the subscriber (UE) is allowed to roam based on a set of predefined criteria when the result of the comparing step is false, and sending a message comprising the access network data (MCC′,MNC′) to at least one of call state control functionality means (CSCF) when the result of the checking step is true.

摘要： A method of establishing transmissions to a mobile station in a wireless radio communications system where an indication of the radio service requirement is provided to the mobile terminal. A switch receives a signal originating a call. The switch notifies a network accordingly with a paging message. The paging message is supplied to the mobile station. The indication of the radio service requirement is provides as part of, or with, the paging message. Subsequently, only those cells that fulfil the radio service requirement need be measured to determine which one is to be used for the transmission.

摘要： In a mobile radio network such as the Universal Mobile Telephone System, for handover or relocation of control of a mobile from a serving RNC 22 to a target RNC 24, the TRNC 24 sends a request to the SRNC 22 over the Iur link 27, and the SRNC 22 returns frame timing information. The TRNC 24 synchronizes the user plane with the SRNC for this uplink, so that both controllers are able to send the same packets in synchronizm. The core network (10) can suppress the duplicated packet.
