摘要： A photoelectric connector assembly includes a first and a second connector and a photoelectric signal conversion module. The first connector defines a mating cavity, first terminals including contacting sections exposing to the mating cavity and a first light transmission module including convex lenses at a front thereof exposing to the mating cavity and first light ports at a rear thereof The second connector includes an insulating seat and second terminals. The seat defines a rear mating end loading the second terminals and a receiving cavity opening upwards. The conversion module is inserted in the receiving cavity and includes second light ports coupled with the first light ports of the first light transmission module and conductive pads touching with the second terminal.

摘要： A socket connector, adapted for electrically connecting an IC package and a printed circuit board, comprises a frame, an insulative housing, a cover plate, a heat pipe retainer, two heat pipes, a backplane, and a plurality of fastening members. The insulative housing is located in and surround by the metal substrate frame. The heat pipe retainer with the heat pipes are seated on the IC package received in the insulative housing. The cover plate is on the heat pipe retainer. The fastening member fastens the frame, the cover plate and the backplane together and to the printed circuit board. The heat pipe retainer is formed with a post in a center thereof, and the cover plate is formed with a hole receiving the post, so that the heat pipe retainer is flexibly orientated and can rotates around the hole.

The distance from one of two straight interfering sides to the other is greater than the width of the interfering channel. When the terminal is installed into the housing, the terminal is firmly positioned in corresponding passageway by virtue of the interfering force between the two straight interfering sides and the interfering channel.
