    摘要: A soft magnetic thin film according to the present invention can exhibit not only good soft magnetic properties but also an excellent anti-corrosion property, a low magnetostriction, a high saturation magnetic flux density and a high bonding ability to a base plate or substrate. The soft magnetic thin film has a composition of (Fe.sub.a M.sub.b Cu.sub.c Ru.sub.d).sub.e N.sub.f O.sub.g where a, b, c, d, e, f and g represent an atomic % of the respective elements and M represents at least one element selected from the group consisting of Si, Al, Ta, B, Mg, Ca, Sr, Cr, Mn, Zr, Nb, Ti, Mo, V, W, Hf, Ga, Ge and rare earth elements, with the limitations of 0.ltoreq.b.ltoreq.5, 0.ltoreq.c.ltoreq.8, 0.ltoreq.d.ltoreq.5, 0.ltoreq.c+d.ltoreq.8, a+b+c+d=100, 0.5.ltoreq.f.ltoreq.15, 0.1.ltoreq.g.ltoreq.13 and e+f+g=100, the soft magnetic thin film being prepared by reaction-sputtering in which a nitrogen and a steam (H.sub.2 O) are introduced.

    摘要: A magnetic head is made by fixing together two head halves 9 and 39. Recesses 10 and 40 are formed in glass layers 4 and 34 on the substrates 1 and 31 respectively of the head halves, and spiral coil patterns 11 and 41 are formed in the recesses. Apart from their inner end portions 11a and 41a the coil patterns are covered by insulating protective films 23 and 53. A plurality of sloping surfaces 4b, 34b are formed on the glass layers 4 and 34 at the locations of the inner end portions of the coil patterns, whereby a plurality of projections 4a, 34a are formed. The angle of slope .theta. of the sloping surfaces is above 30.degree. and below 90.degree.. The coil patterns 11 and 41 comprise copper plating layers 19 and 39; because the coil pattern inner end portions lie on the projections 4a, 34a their surfaces are high and exposed at the surfaces of the insulating protective films 23, 53, and gold films 16 and 46 are formed thereon. These gold films connect to each other and connect the coil patterns 11 and 41 to form one coil.

    摘要: A magnetic recording system for recording signals onto coat-type magnetic tape using magnetic powder by using a magnetic head, and a magnetic recording system for recording signals onto a coat-type magnetic disk using magnetic powder by running magnetic head in contact with the disk, are disclosed. The magnetic tape has a coercive force Hc of 2000 to 3800 Oe in the former system, while the magnetic disk has a coercive force He of 2000 to 3500 Oe in the latter system. In both systems, signals are recorded by using a magnetic head using magnetic core members having a saturation magnetic flux density of 15 kG or greater.
