The coil (200) comprises a wire (202) wounded about a core (204) thereby establishing a plurality of windings and having its ends terminated on mounting sections (208) at each end of the core (204). The coil (200) further comprises a shielding layer (212, 300) wound about a central part of the core (204) thereby covering said windings. The shielding layer (212, 300) comprises a shielding pattern and a contact section (214) for connecting to a ground level and to the shielding pattern.

摘要: Systems, devices and methods are provided to switch between transmit and receive modes in wireless hearing aids. Various aspects of the present subject matter relate to a communication system. Various embodiments of the communication system include an antenna with a resonant circuit having an inductive coil connected to a tuning capacitor. The communication system includes means to selectively drive the resonant circuit during a transmit mode, and means to selectively receive an induced signal in the resonant circuit during a receive mode. The communication system further includes means to selectively include a frequency shift canceling component in the resonant circuit to provide a first resonance frequency in the resonant circuit in the transmit mode and a second resonance frequency in the resonant circuit in the receive mode such that the first resonance frequency and the second resonance frequency are approximately equal. Other aspects are provided herein.

摘要: Systems, devices and methods are provided to switch between transmit and receive modes in wireless hearing aids. One aspect relates to an apparatus for use within a communication system that has an inductive coil connected to a tuning capacitor at a node. An amplifier is connected to the node through a DC blocking capacitor to receive an induced signal in the inductive coil in a receive mode. A driver energizes the inductive coil with a driven signal in a transmit mode. According to various embodiments, the apparatus transforms the inductive coil, the tuning capacitor and the DC blocking capacitor into an equivalent series resonant circuit to reduce an inductive load in the transmit mode, and transforms the inductive coil, the tuning capacitor and the DC blocking capacitor into an equivalent parallel resonant circuit to increase an inductive load in the receive mode.

摘要: A digital communication device such as a hearing aid or a headset has a power supply, a signal processing device, means for receiving a wireless signal and a receiver or loudspeaker which produces an audio signal based on a modulated pulsed signal with high frequency shifting rate produced by the signal processing device. The receiver also has a first and a second connection point for receiving the pulsed modulated signal wherein the sound-producing parts of the receiver are at least partially enclosed by a metal box, and a third connection point is provided which is in electrical contact with the metal of the metal box. The third connection point is connected to the electric circuitry of the communication device at a point having a stable and well defined electrical potential. In this way the electro- and magnetic radiation from the metal parts of the receiver is reduced.
