    摘要: A proximity based authentication system and method is described. The system includes a gateway, a cloud component, and a mobile device. The gateway is associated with a particular location and is communicatively coupled to a cloud component. The gateway includes a gateway short-range wireless radio capable of establishing a short-range wireless communication channel. The mobile device is also communicatively coupled the cloud component and includes a mobile device short-range wireless radio that communicates with the gateway using the short-range wireless communication channel when the mobile device is in proximity of the gateway. The mobile device receives a gateway key over the short-range wireless communication channel. The mobile device then communicates the gateway key to a cloud component database. The cloud component authenticates the particular location of the mobile device when the cloud component receives the gateway key from the mobile device.

    摘要: A networked gaming system and method is described. The networked gaming system and method include a user identification, a transactional component, a networked gaming module, and at least one network access device. The user identification is received by the network access device. The received user identification is compared with registration data in a registration database. A player is provided access to a game when the received user identification matches the registered player data. The transactional component charges the registered player at least one credit for a game outcome. The networked gaming module performs the game operations and generates at least one random game output by random generation at the networked gaming module. The networked gaming module then associates the at least one random game output with an image ID. The networked gaming module then communicates the one or more images corresponding to the image ID to the network access device.

    摘要: A network based indoor positioning and geofencing system and method is described. Beacons are disposed within a physical premises and each beacon transmits a signal containing identifying information. A networked indoor positioning module receives measured reference points that include a measured beacon identifier and a measured signal strength. The networked indoor positioning module uses the measured reference points to generate calculated signal strength values for at least one detected beacon. At least one geofence is associated with the physical premises and the geofence includes some of the calculated signal strength values. A wireless device receives a beacon identifier and a beacon signal strength, when the wireless device is in or near a geofence associated the physical premises. The networked indoor positioning module determines that the wireless device is within at least one geofence by comparing the received beacon identifier and the received beacon signal strength with the calculated signal strength values corresponding to the detected beacon.

    摘要: An indoor mapping system and method utilizing beacons are described. The system includes a physical premises map, one or more beacons disposed within the physical premises, a beacon location, a plurality of measured signal strengths, and a wireless device. The beacon location is layered on the physical premises map, and the plurality of measured signal strengths are captured from the beacons. The wireless device includes an indoor positioning module, and the wireless device receives one or more beacon identifier when it is within a broadcast range of the beacons. The wireless device also determines a signal strength of the received beacon identifiers. The indoor positioning module associates the measured signal strengths from the beacons with their corresponding beacon location. Each beacon location is further associated with a plurality of calculated signal strengths that are generated from the measured signal strengths. The indoor positioning module also determines that the wireless device is at a beacon location by comparing the received beacon identifiers and signal strengths with the calculated signal strengths.

    摘要: A system and method for communicating secure content is described. The system includes a registration cloud component, stationary networked beacons, a mobile wireless device, an encrypted data file and a decryption key. The encrypted data file and associated decryption key is generated at one or more network cloud components. The encrypted data file is communicated along a network communication path to the mobile wireless device. The decryption key is communicated along the network communication path to the registered stationary networked beacon. A proximity is determined between the mobile wireless device and the stationary networked beacon. The decryption key is communicated from the stationary networked beacon to the mobile wireless device when the mobile wireless device is within the proximity of the stationary networked beacon. The encrypted data file associated with the mobile wireless device is decrypted with the decryption key transmitted by the stationary networked beacon.
