    摘要: A method of image-guided radiotherapy for treatment of a radio-resistant or radio-sensitive tumor. A three-dimensional visualized tumor image is obtained and the boundary of the tumor is identified. A boosted radiation dose of treatment is designated and applied to a boost region within the tumor boundary. A predetermined prescribed radiation dose is simultaneously applied with the boosted radiation dose within the tumor boundary and in a planning target volume region, which is outside of the tumor boundary. The boosted radiation dose outside of the boost region decreases at a boost dose decreasing rate such that the boosted radiation dose is equal to the predetermined prescribed radiation dose at the tumor boundary.

    摘要: A data processing system includes a main storage, an input/output memory management unit (IOMMU) coupled to the main storage, a peripheral component interconnect (PCI) device coupled to the IOMMU, and a mapper. The system is configured to allocate an amount of physical memory in the main storage and the IOMMU is configured to provide access to the main storage and to map a PCI address from the PCI device to a physical memory address within the main storage. The mapper is configured to perform a mapping between the allocated amount of physical memory of the main storage and a contiguous PCI address space. The IOMMU is further configured to translate PCI addresses of the contiguous PCI address space to the physical memory address within the main storage.

    摘要: A system and method that may facilitate transmission bandwidth savings in non-stationary vehicle-to-vehicle wireless communication channels. At a transmitting vehicle, a transmitter may adaptively change the number of pilot symbols or pilot rate within a frame based upon the current channel statistics. The transmitter may utilize a look-up table approach to select a best pilot rate based upon current conditions associated with the transmitting vehicle, and/or a new frame structure to transmit pilot rate information. At the receiving vehicle, the receiver may be configured to detect a unique waveform transmitted by the transmitting vehicle to estimate the pilot rate information. Alternatively, the receiver on the receiving vehicle may be configured to predict and verify the pilot rate information from an encoded data symbol embedded within a frame transmitted by the transmitting vehicle, which may entail a detection algorithm using encoded data symbols and/or an estimation algorithm using channel statistics.

In an embodiment, a protection circuit is to detect a voltage at an input rail of a regulator, where the regulator is to provide power to a peripheral device via an interface. Next, the protection circuit is to compare the detected voltage to a reference voltage. Then, the protection circuit is to generate a detection signal based on the comparison. Lastly, the protection circuit is to disable a connection between the regulator and the interface based on the detection signal.

    摘要: Methods, devices and systems for sensor-based wireless communication systems using compressive sampling are provided. L User Equipments (mobile stations) transmit signals with sparsity S and their signals are compressively sensed to M samples by Z remote samplers (a distributed antenna arrangement) and the uplink channel is estimated by a central processor (the “central brain”). For a given system signal to noise ratio, retained samples M and sparsity S, we approximate the loss in sum mutual information due to imperfect knowledge of the channel. The approximation is premised on a lower bound of the mutual information which accounts for the power in the channel estimation error. Also, throughput results are given for adaptively adjusting the sparsity of multiple users' transmit signals based on channel fading.
