    Abstract: A controller for a power supply device includes a transmission terminal, first and second memory circuits, a determining circuit, and a control circuit. The determining circuit generates a first mode signal when an input voltage value is lower than a reference voltage value and generates a second mode signal when the input voltage value is greater than or equal to the reference voltage value. The control circuit enters a first mode and a second mode in response to the first mode signal and the second mode signal, respectively. The control circuit writes a control parameter from the transmission terminal into the first memory circuit in the first mode and uses the control parameter in the second mode to test the power supply device. When the control parameter meets an expected function of the power supply device, the control circuit writes the control parameter into the second memory circuit.

    Abstract: A detection circuit for a power supply circuit is provided. The detection circuit includes a reference circuit, a voltage detection circuit, and a determination circuit. The reference circuit is coupled to a thermal circuit of the power supply circuit through a connection pin. The voltage detection circuit stops the reference circuit from providing a temperature reference signal, and samples a single-phase AC input power through the connection pin. When a peak value information of the single-phase AC input power is sampled, the voltage detection circuit stores the peak value information and enables the reference circuit to provide the temperature reference signal. The determination circuit provides at least one of a waveform detection signal and an over-voltage detection signal in response to the peak value information, and provides an over-temperature detection signal according to at least one of an output signal of the thermal circuit and the peak value information.

    Abstract: An asymmetric half-bridge converter is provided. The asymmetric half-bridge converter includes a switch circuit, a resonance tank, a current sensor, and a controller. The current sensor senses a waveform of a resonance current flowing through the resonance tank to generate a sensing result. The controller determines the sensing result. When the sensing result indicates that an ending current value of a primary resonance waveform of the resonance current is greater than a predetermined value, the controller performs a first switching operation on the switch circuit. When the sensing result indicates that the ending current value of the primary resonance waveform is less than or equal to the predetermined value, the controller performs a second switching operation on the switch circuit.

    Abstract: An LED backlight system and an LED control circuit are provided. The LED backlight system includes an LED string and the LED control circuit. The LED control circuit includes an LED driver, a switching circuit and an abnormality detecting circuit. The LED driver is configured to generate a control signal. The switching circuit controls a current flowing through the LED string in response to the control signal. The abnormality detecting circuit is configured to detect a voltage or the current of a first end of the LED string. When the voltage or the current of the first end of the LED string is less than or equal to a threshold value, the abnormality detecting circuit turns off the switching circuit, and the abnormality detecting circuit detects an impedance of the first end of the LED string to determine an abnormal state of the LED string.

    Abstract: A power conversion apparatus and a synchronous rectification (SR) circuit thereof are provided. The power conversion apparatus includes a transformer and the SR circuit. A primary winding of the transformer receives an input voltage. A secondary winding of the transformer provides an output voltage to an output terminal. The SR circuit includes a SR transistor and a SR controller. The SR transistor is coupled between the secondary winding and the output terminal and controlled by a control signal. The SR controller is coupled to the SR transistor to receive a first detecting signal, and generates the control signal according to the first detecting signal. When the SR controller detects that the SR circuit is abnormal, the SR controller generates the controller signal to keep the SR transistor at an on state so as to perform an abnormal protection on the SR circuit.

    Abstract: A power conversion apparatus and a synchronous rectification (SR) controller thereof are provided.
