摘要: The present invention comprises an improved system and method for visualizing data. In a preferred form of the invention, there is provided an improved system and method for comprehending and communicating time course or sequential numerical data, and their complex interdependencies, through the use of a novel three dimensional orthogonal chart system. In another preferred form of the invention, there is provided a three dimensional orthogonal chart system for visualizing data comprising of a plurality of data sets, wherein each of the data sets is represented as a separate ribbon propagating along the first axis. In another preferred form of the invention, there is provided a three dimensional orthogonal chart system for visualizing data comprising of a plurality of data sets, wherein each of the data sets is represented as a separate ribbon propagating along a first axis, with the separate ribbons being displaced from one another along another axis.

摘要: The present invention comprises an improved system and method for visualizing data. In a preferred form of the invention, there is provided an improved system and method for comprehending and communicating financial data, and their complex interdependencies, through the use of a novel three dimensional orthogonal chart system. In one preferred form of the invention, there is provided a three dimensional orthogonal chart system for visualizing data comprising at least two data sets, wherein one data set is represented as a ribbon propagating along a first axis and the second data set is represented as a curtain propagating along the first axis. In another preferred form of the invention, there is provided a three dimensional orthogonal chart system for visualizing data comprising a plurality of data sets, wherein each of the data sets is represented as a separate ribbon propagating along a first axis, with the separate ribbons being displaced from one another along another axis. In another preferred form of the invention, there is provided a three dimensional orthogonal chart system for visualizing data comprising the pricing, distribution, and trading activity for option contracts, including both calls and puts.

摘要: The invention provides a self-remediating projectile, i.e., an environmentally-remediating bullet, slug, shot, missile, or other ballistic projectile. An environmental remediation agent (e.g., a calcium or magnesium sulfide, phosphate, or similar material), preferably in combination with a water-soluble or biodegradable polymer, acts as a coating for a conventional projectile, rendering it less water soluble and, hence, less prone to corrosion. Also provided are a method of making a self-remediating projectile, an environmentally remediating target, and a method of remediating an area polluted with spent ammunition.

摘要: An improved paint stripper is provided and comprises at least one paint-stripping agent modified with at least one heavy metal remediation agent. Optionally, one or more viscosity-modification agents, dispersants, or other additive is also included. The invention also provides a kit for making a heavy metal-remediating paint stripper, comprising a vessel containing a paint-stripping agent and a dissolvable packet containing a remediation agent. To use the kit, a painter or other laborer opens the vessel containing the paint-stripping agent and deposits therein the packet containing the remediation agent. The packet dissolves, thereby releasing the remediation agent into the stripping agent.
