Abstract:
Wire positioning devices (1) for positioning an electrical wire (2) in a processing device, include a wire guide (4) for receiving the electrical wire (2) and a lowering device (5), movable vertically in relation to a first longitudinal axis (45) of the wire (2) received in the wire guide (4). The lowering device (5) has a press piece (6), spring-loaded via at least one spring element (15), and is provided so as to be contacted against the wire guide (4), the spring element (15) being arranged in a tube (16). Also disclosed are methods for lowering thin wires (2) and for positioning them in an oscillation-damped manner, wherein a wire positioning device (1) or a processing device are employed.
Abstract:
In order to develop a method for determining a measured value of a target measured variable of a multiphase flow, in particular, of a two-phase flow, wherein a value of a pressure of the multiphase flow is measured as a primary measured variable by means of a measuring device, with which a desired target measured variable of a multiphase flow, for example, the total mass flow can be determined in a simple manner from a primary measured variable, it is suggested in accordance with the invention that a time development of the primary measured variable be measured, the measured time development of the primary measured variable be compared with reference time developments of the primary measured variable, with which a respective reference value of the target measured variable is associated, and the measured value of the target measured variable be determined from the reference values of the target measured variable as a function of the result of the comparison of the measured development of the primary measured variable with the reference developments of the primary measured variable.
Abstract:
Shaped, activated Raney metal fixed-bed catalysts are obtained by molding a powder of at least one catalyst alloy, comprising at least one Raney process metal as catalytically active component and a leachable alloy component, and a powder of pure Raney process metal as binder with the addition of a shaping aid and pore-producer and subsequent calcination at temperatures below 850.degree. C. During calcination the shaping aid and pore-producer are burned away. Catalyst alloy powder and binder powder thereby sinter together to give a mechanically stable and porous molded item. This molded item thus consists of particles of catalyst alloys which are bonded by the powder of pure Raney process metal. It has no catalytically inactive, ceramic or glassy binder. The surface layer of the molded item is activated by leaching the leachable alloy component contained in the catalyst alloys with caustic soda solution.
