Abstract:
A data communication security system is disclosed that includes a network interface configured for transport layer protocol communications at a communication port. The network interface includes a security module configured to provide secure shell (SSH) data security on a transport layer data path, and which is communicatively connected to the transport layer data path. The data communication security system also includes a file-based application programming interface defining a plurality of attributes of the network interface and including at least one attribute configured for selection of the security module and accessible for use in logical I/O operations.
Abstract:
Plastic aerosol container having a thermally crystallized neck finish configured to receive an aerosol valve assembly and an expanded strain oriented aerosol container body integral with the neck finish. A junction between the thermally crystallized neck finish and the strain oriented container body defines a pull point at which strain orientation begins.

Abstract:
Method and apparatus for sequentially delivering multiple shots of polymer material to a plurality of mold cavities to form multilayer articles. A first shot of greater than 50% of the total article weight of a first polymer material is simultaneously delivered to a plurality of mold cavities using, at each cavity, a chamber of predetermined volume that is prefilled with the first polymer material. A second shot of no greater than 10% of the total article weight of a second material is simultaneously delivered to all of the cavities beginning subsequent to the step of delivering the start of the first shot delivery step. The second shot of second material is delivered through a manifold channel that fluidly communicates with each cavity, and is injected to all cavities under pressure exerted by a source of the second material that is common to all of the plurality of cavities.

Containers for pressurized filling and pasteurization and methods of reducing creep in a pressurized pasteurizable container. The container is a blow-molded plastic container having a biaxially oriented wall of a structural polymer with a moisture content of no greater than a predetermined value at the start of a pressurized filling, capping, and pasteurization process. Also disclosed are pasteurizable containers having a desired shelf life.

Abstract:
A plastic aerosol container assembly includes a plastic container that has a main body portion defining an interior space and a finish portion that defines an opening. A pressurized aerosol mixture is maintained within the interior space. The finish portion has an inner surface that has an undercut defined therein. An aerosol valve assembly is mounted to the plastic container so that a portion thereof engages the inner surface of the finish portion so as to be retained by the undercut. The plastic container is preferably fabricated from material including polyethylene terephthalate. At least one location in the finish portion may be crystallized in order to provide enhanced resistance to stress cracking.
Abstract:
A compression molded preform for forming an invertible base hot-fill container, and systems and methods thereof. The preform includes a body with a first open end, a second closed end or end cap of hemispherical shape, and a sidewall extending between the first end and the second end. At least a portion of the second end is thinner than any portion of the sidewall. Further, the second end is gateless and has an inner surface that is substantially smooth along its entire area. The compression molded preform is blow molded to form a plastic container with an invertible or movable base. The invertible or movable base is responsive to, or can be moved based on, internal forces or pressure associated with processing the container with a filled product.
