    摘要： A portable communication device is equipped with a content and/or channel recommendation function that is configured to provide a user with content recommendations for watching a television program. The portable communication device is used as a remote control to control various aspects of the television. In one embodiment, channel recommendations are made based upon the user's mobile activities. Such activities include: web browsing, web searching, multimedia content rendered and/or downloaded on the portable communications device, contact information, and calendar information stored on the portable communication device. In another embodiment, the user may view television programs previously and/or currently being watched by a contact.

The information presentation device may include a sound generating unit, at least one first user input unit, and a control unit that provides selectable items in the menu structure. Upon detection of selection of a specific item via a user input unit, the presentation device may control the sound generating unit to generate the sound associated with the selected item.

    摘要： A server provides an information record comprising selected information related to an image depicted in a digital photograph. The server may comprise a database and a recognition application. The database may store, in association with each of a plurality of subject matters: i) recognition data for recognizing the subject matter within an image; and ii) information related to the subject matter. The recognition application may receive a request from a remote client system. The request comprises a digital image embodying at least a portion of a digital photograph. The recognition application applies recognition data to the digital image to determine a selected subject matter. The selected subject matter is the subject matter depicted in the digital image. The recognition application further obtains selected information from the database. The selected information may be the information related to the selected subject matter. A response is then returned to the remote client system. The response comprises the information record comprising the selected information.
