摘要： The present invention relates to a aqueous composition containing a suspended pesticide A, and microcapsules comprising a shell and a core, wherein the core contains a pesticide B and an aprotic, polar solvent B, and the shell contains poly(meth)acrylate, which comprises C1-C24 alkyl esters of acrylic and/or methacrylic acid, acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, and/or maleic acid in polymerized form. The invention further relates to a method for preparing said composition comprising the mixing of the pesticide A, water and the microcapsules, to said microcapsule, wherein the core contains the pesticide B and a solvent A, wherein the weight ratio of the pesticide B to the sum of all solvents in the core is from 1:1 to 1:10, and wherein the microcapsule contains up to 7 wt % poly(meth)acrylate, based on the total amount of all pesticides in the core, all solvents in the core, and the poly(meth)acrylate.

摘要： A high pressure injection system for applying a pesticide includes a portable, handheld application tool and a manifold head connected to the application tool. The manifold head has at least one internal passage. At least one high pressure nozzle is positioned in the manifold head and in fluid communication with the at least one internal passage. The at least one high pressure nozzle is operable at pressures between about 25 psi and about 10,000 psi. A contact plate is mounted to the manifold head and has at least one opening aligned with the at least one high pressure nozzle. A source of pesticide is fluidly connected to the at least one high pressure nozzle. A discharge valve is moveable between a closed position wherein the pesticide is inhibited from flowing to the at least one high pressure nozzle and an opened position wherein pesticide flows to the at least one high pressure nozzle.

摘要： A method of treating soil adjacent a structure generally includes positioning an injection apparatus over a first injection site generally adjacent a structure. 摘要： Apparatus and method for drilling a well into a submerged bottom from a floating drilling vessel while employing a riser pipe having positive buoyancy is disclosed. The riser pipe extends between the vessel and the well and is comprised of an upper and a lower section. Means are connected to the lower section for imparting a buoyant force to it of sufficient magnitude to render it positively buoyant. Means are provided extending between the submerged bottom and the upper end of the positively buoyant riser section for restraining the lower section against upward movement. The upper section of the riser pipe may be disconnected from the lower section so that the vessel may abandon the well site. The lower riser section is left self-standing, connected to the wellhead.
