    摘要: A shock absorber comprises first and second axially aligned cylinders (11, 21) each having a liquid filled piston chamber (12, 22), an axially displaceable piston (13, 23) received in the piston chamber (12, 22), and means (14, 24) for dampening axial displacement of the piston (13, 23) through the liquid in the piston chamber (12, 22). A piston rod (1) axially extends between and into the first and second cylinder piston chambers (12, 22). The first and second axial ends (1a, 1b) of the piston rod (1) are connected to the first and second cylinder pistons (13, 23), respectively. In another form, the shock absorber comprises a single cylinder (111) with two piston (113, 123) and piston rod (101, 201) assemblies, one piston rod (101, 201) extending through each end (111a, 111b) of the cylinder (111).

    摘要: Several long friction bodies (31 . . . 37) each with several rivets (4) , are fixed to the anchor plate of a disk brake pad (1) for rail or utility vehicles. The peripheral profile of each friction body is configured in the shape of a stadium so that the two semi-circle-shaped ends are each connected by parallel sides. The fixing rivets (4) are arranged at a mutual distance in the direction of the greatest longitudinal extension of the corresponding friction body (L1 . . . . L7). The directions of all of the greatest longitudinal extensions are at an acute angle &agr; to the run-in direction (E). The angles incidence (&agr;) are different for the various friction bodies of the friction body arrangement but are never greater than 45°.
