    摘要: A high temperature dynamic seal and methods of assembly and use are presented. In one embodiment, the dynamic seal is provided as a rotating seal, which includes a stationary ring and rotating ring assembly, with a seal ring that is positioned between the stationary ring member and the rotating ring assembly. In some embodiments, one or more high temperature seals create a seal between the stationary ring member and a device in which the dynamic seal is used. Similarly one or more high temperature seals create a seal between the rotating ring assembly and a rotating shaft of the device. In one aspect, one or more of the high temperature seals are formed from a metallic material with various cross-sectional shapes.

    摘要: A method and system characterizes an IF response of a receiver under test, such that an effect on the characterization by errors associated with uncertainties in knowledge of an RF stimulus signal used to perform the characterization is reduced. The method includes determining an estimate of an actual IF response of the receiver under test from IF responses of the receiver under test measured at overlapping frequency bands and a set of conversion coefficients computed therefrom, such that the estimate reduces the effect of the errors. The system includes a signal generator, an IF processor, a computer program, and a controller that controls the generator and the processor and executes the computer program. When a receiver under test is characterized, the receiver is connected between the signal generator, the IF processor and the controller. The computer program includes instructions that implement characterizing the receiver IF response.

    摘要: A dual fuel injection system for a low Nox combustor in which separate gaseous and liquid fuel manifolds are integrally joined to form manifold assemblies. Each manifold assembly extends circumferentially around the inlet of an annular fuel and air mixing passage. The gaseous fuel manifolds have a number of gas discharge ports spaced around their circumferences. The liquid fuel manifolds have a number of fuel nozzles spaced around their circumferences. The gaseous fuel discharge ports and liquid fuel nozzles are oriented so as to inject fuel into the annular passages in a manner that will facilitate mixing of the fuel and air. Separate gaseous and liquid fuel supply tubes are connected to each manifold.

    摘要: A satellite radiodetermination system comprises global navigation service (GNSS) satellites 2 such as GPS satellites, which generate GNSS ranging signals R.sub.n, geostationary satellites 6 which retransmit ranging signals R.sub.g generated at a navigation land earth station (NLES) 8, including augmentation data A, and medium earth orbit (MEO) satellites 10 which generate ranging signals R.sub.m including regional augmentation data RA transmitted from a satellite access node (SAN) 14. The regional augmentation data RA is supplied by regional augmentation systems 21a, 21b.A navigation receiver 11 receives the ranging signals R.sub.g, R.sub.m, R.sub.n and calculates ionospheric delay values for those ranging signals which are provided on dual frequencies. Using these ionospheric delay values, and optionally the regional augmentation data RA and the augmentation data A, the navigation receiver estimates ionospheric delay values for those ranging signals which are provided on single frequencies. The navigation receiver uses the ranging signals, corrected for ionospheric delay and errors indicated by the augmentation data A and regional augmentation data RA, to calculate position and time accurately.
