摘要： A rugged hand-held mobile computing device for a forester to collect and use dendrometric data from trees and tree stands is claimed. The device includes a processor which operates in connection with a memory, a user interface, a GPS receiver, a sound sensor capable of emitting an ultra-sonic pulse and a computer readable code embodied on the memory. The device communicates with a transponder by way of the ultra-sonic pulse emitted by the sound sensor. The transponder also emits an ultra-sonic pulse back to device. The device calculates the distance traveled based on the knowledge of the speed of the pulses. The memory, which also includes basic mapping software, uses the data to update a map in real time with the location of the trees and other information collected.

摘要： In one embodiment, there is shown a system and method of allowing a user to gain access to information pertaining to certain equipment by pulling a label out of an opening in a surface of the equipment, viewing information on the label; and pushing the label back into the opening. In a further embodiment, the label is captive to the equipment independent from a bezel surrounding the equipment. In a still further embodiment of the invention, the label has on it pre-established information pertaining to the equipment, as well as user added information.

摘要： A bilboquet toy (20) is provided. The toy (20) incorporates a handheld radio (26), such as a cellular telephone or other handheld electronic device, to which is attached a coupler (22). A bille (24), in the form of a stylized ring or cup, is coupled to the coupler (22) by a tether (32). In play, the bille (24) is tossed upward and caught as it falls upon an antenna (28) of the radio (26). The bille (24) may assume any of a plurality of shapes to allow different forms and levels of play. The coupler (22) may be removable, such as an O-ring pressed over the antenna (28), semi-removable, as a two-part hook-and-loop fastener, or permanent. Either the coupler (22) or the bille (24) may display advertising copy (46). The coupler (22), the bille (24), and the tether (32) are fabricated of non-conducting materials to avoid interference with communicative use of the handheld radio (26).

摘要： A compounded and plasticized vinyl chloride polymer layer, optionally supported with a fabric, contains an outer adherent, stain resistant layer having durability and flexibility. The adherent, stain resistant layer is derived from a water-based polyester-amino resin composition. The stain resistant layer comprises the reaction product of said polyester, an acid catalyst, and an amino resin. The vinyl chloride layer may be printed or embossed or both printed and embossed, optionally printed again, before the outer layer is applied. A laminate formed from the polyvinyl chloride polymer layer and the stain resistant layer can also be embossed.

摘要： A method, apparatus, and computer program product for building at least a portion of a motion picture on a computer system first monitors memory in the computer system for the creation of a frame of the motion picture. It consequently sets a flag in the computer system when it detects that the frame has been stored in the memory. Once the flag is set, the rendered frame is directed to a motion picture builder. Each frame in the portion of the motion picture being built is processed in this manner until the motion picture portion is formed.

摘要： A security shield device is provided in two embodiments. One embodiment includes a front cover, a rear base and a connector member connecting the front cover to the rear base. The front cover is mounted to a slidebolt latch for movement between a covered position shielding a padlock shackle coupled to a latch portion of a slidebolt latch and an uncovered position displaced from the latch portion of the slidebolt latch. The rear base mates with the latch portion of the slidebolt latch so as to attach the rear base to the slidebolt latch when the padlock shackle is coupled to the slidebolt latch. The connector member prevents movement of the front cover relative to the slidebolt latch away from the rear base which would expose the shackle of the padlock. The other embodiment includes a front cover, a rear base connected to the front cover, and apertures defined therein aligned with openings in stationary and movable latch portions of a slidebolt latch. The aligned apertures and openings receive a padlock shackle to couple the security shield device and stationary and movable latch portions together with upper edge portions of the front cover and rear base disposed on opposite sides of the latch portions shielding the latch portions of the slidebolt latch and padlock shackle coupled thereto.
