    摘要: A golf swing resistance device that secures to a golf club to provide increased aerodynamic drag during a golf swing. The device includes disk-shaped plates with a through-bore in the center of the plates. The plates are secured to the golf club by passing the grip end of the golf club through the through-bore of the plates. The plates align along the golf shaft of the golf club and abut against the golf club clubhead during a golf swing. Multiple plates can be stacked along the length of the golf shaft. The plates have a larger span (or diameter) than the golf shaft thereby increasing the cross-sectional area of the golf club and thus increasing the aerodynamic drag on the golf club during a golf swing. The plates can vary in size and quantity to provide variable amounts of aerodynamic drag.

    摘要: There is provided a railing post adaptor for a roof support apparatus. The roof support apparatus comprises an elongate member having a plurality of longitudinal sides. The railing post adaptor comprises a roof support apparatus connector for securing the railing post adaptor to the roof support apparatus. The roof support apparatus connector comprises a first connection portion arranged to engage, in use, with a first set of the plurality of longitudinal sides, and a second connection portion, movably mounted to the first connection portion and arranged to engage, in use, with a second set of the plurality of longitudinal sides, the second set being different from the first set. The first set and the second set each comprise at least two longitudinal sides. The first connection portion and the second connection portion are together configured to substantially prevent rotation of the railing post adapter about a longitudinal axis of the elongate member by engagement with the first set and second set of longitudinal sides.

    摘要: The MagnaFloat, an energy generation device using gravity, buoyancy, pressure differentials, speed controls and linear motors to control the movement of buoyant canisters over and through a series of open, non-restricted pathways. Each canister has a magnet inside. While moving downward through Air (Drop Phase), ascending through Fluid (Floatation-ascent Phase), and upward through Air, these magnet-canisters pass through permanently attached inductors and electricity is produced. At conclusion of Floatation-ascent Phase, canisters exit Fluid and continue moving upward through Air into Pivot Bucket; Pivot Bucket is then rotated and canisters are ejected onto Inclined Platform. At bottom of overall device Passive Roller System changes direction of travel for canisters from downward vertical motion to horizontal motion, then later to upward vertical motion. While traveling horizontally, kinetic energy is extracted from fast moving canisters by acquiring and storing increased hydraulic pressure, which is converted into electricity.

    摘要: A compliant trim for use between concrete slabs is disclosed, intended to seal the joints and provide a decorative cover over the forms. The compliant trim is placed on the forms prior to the pouring of concrete. The compliant trim contains features which anchor the compliant trim to the slab at numerous points along its length, thereby constraining the compliant trim against any shrinkage effects, and doing so in a manner that introduces minimal stress concentration into the slabs. When the compliant trim is anchored to both of the adjacent slabs, it is capable of following slab motions due to thermal expansion or other environmental effects. The surface of the compliant trim may be used to support the screed. Additionally, the compliant trim may be used to produce a chamfered or radius edge, thereby eliminating the need to radius-trowel the slab.
