    摘要: A method for sealing a post-cast strip in a foundation with no gap includes the following steps: mounting steel plates, horizontal pipes and vertical pipes cooperatively layer by layer in a post-cast strip, respectively, such that the upper open end of each vertical pipe protrudes from the ground through the post-cast strip; pouring grout into the post-cast strip from the top of the post-cast strip after the end of the settlement of the foundation, and carrying out high-pressure grouting into the vertical pipe using grouting equipment simultaneously; delivering the sealing grout poured into the vertical pipe to the horizontal pipes, such that the sealing grout overflows from the grout outlets of the horizontal pipes to densely fill up existing gaps; and cutting off the portion of the vertical pipe above the ground after the post-cast strip is completely sealed, and levelling the top of the cut-off vertical pipe with concrete.

    摘要: A shaped, water-expandable water-sealing article used for sealing an area between a first section of at least partially cured concrete and a second, adjacent section of substantially uncured concrete. The clay water sealing article is in the shape of a quadrilateral, preferably a trapezoid, and is disposed to bridge an area between the two sections of concrete. Upon hydration of the clay contained within the shaped water sealing article, expansion of the clay creates expansion forces extending from a corner of the article that is surrounded by the uncured concrete, wherein the corner has an included angle greater than 90.degree., preferably at least 100.degree.. The expansion force developed by the expansion of the shaped water sealing article are absorbed by a substantially increased area of the uncured concrete as compared to expansion forces resulting from a clay-based water seal having a 90.degree. included angle at the corner(s) surrounded by the uncured concrete.

    摘要: This invention relates to slurry method and apparatus for forming panelized concrete walls with a positive seal between joints. The invention is basically an improvement on the process disclosed in Veder U.S. Pat. No. 3,310,952. The slurry method or process includes the formation of a plurality of overlapping trench sections in the presence of a slurry, typically a thixotropic bentonite, with the overlapping ends between trench sections being maintained open by a hollow tubular pipe member. The joint between the concrete panels include a positive seal member bridging the gap between the adjoining panels. Portions of the positive seal members according to this invention are carried furled or folded in slots in the end stop pipe. Each furled seal portion is comprised of a vertical support bar having sealingly secured thereto a plurality of horizontally extending anchor and seal portions rigidly secured to one surface of the vertical support bar where the concrete is to be poured in a panel section. The furled positive seal member is sealingly coupled to the opposite side of the vertical support bar member and is unrolled or unfurled after the stop pipe has been removed and the next succeeding panel excavation has been performed. In this way, the positive seal remains in a protected position during the excavation for the next panel section and is then unfurled from the protected position into the slurry in the just excavated panel section.
