摘要： A method for communicating in a multi-processor environment is provided that includes generating a bit at an originating processor associated with a message to be communicated to a destination processor. The bit is positioned in a send register associated with the originating processor and transposed from the send register of the originating processor to a receive register of the destination processor. An interrupt signal is then generated in response to the bit being transposed.

摘要： A wheel brake system for a truck or the like including a brake shoe having the usual semicylindrical band with a brake lining secured over its outer convex surface, but being provided with generally radially inwardly projecting apertured mounting lugs spaced along its arcuate extent. Each shoe further includes a pair of registered inner and outer arcuate plates over whose outer edge surfaces the concave inner surface of the band is disposed with the lugs carried by the band sandwiched and clamped between the plates by through bolts secured therethrough. The inner side plate, independent of the through bolts, is removably mounted in position whereby after the through bolts have been removed the inside plate may be axially withdrawn from the associated drum and the lining may thereafter also be axially withdrawn from the drum.

摘要： An adjustable lamp holder has a mounting structure arrayed about a longitudinal axis. A pair of hollow pivot pillars extends from the mounting structure parallel to the longitudinal axis and a receptacle is positioned on the mounting structure parallel to the longitudinal axis and substantially opposite the pivot pillars. A body with a body axis coaxial with the longitudinal axis has a pair of pivots formed thereon for engaging the pivot pillars. A projection is formed on the body substantially opposite the pivots and an angle adjuster, having a proximal end and a distal end, has the proximal end positioned in the projection and the distal end positioned in the receptacle. Movement of the angle adjuster tips the angle of the lamp.

摘要： In a pipeline network processor, a packet intercept feature determines whether a packet is to be intercepted based on the inbound and outbound port through which the packet travels and based on the source and destination of the packet. When a packet enters the pipeline network processor, a determination is made as to whether the inbound and outbound ports are enabled for packet intercept. If so, a source and/or destination media access control address is compared to a list of configured intercept addresses. If a match is found, a copy of the packet is diverted to an intercept receiver and the original packet is forwarded to its intended destination.

摘要： A host system and a local system (work station) comprise a system for updating source code. The host system includes a compiler and any necessary tools for compilation of source code which is characterized by, for example, database statements. While the work station also includes a compiler, it lacks tools for translating the database statements. Consequently, the host system expands and marks the original source to create a marked expanded source file which is in a form compilable at work station without the tools. The work station then modifies the source file, and returns a processed source file to the host system, where the marking and preprocessing are undone and the source file returned to its original form (but now as changed by the work station).

The bathtub water level monitoring system includes a main unit adapted for attachment to an interior face of a bathtub, the main unit having a plurality of water sensors aligned along a lower portion of the main unit. The main unit further includes a transmitter and alarm system for producing an audible alarm upon the water sensors detecting a pre-determined water level. The system includes a remote alarm device for giving an audible alarm upon reception of a signal transmitted from the transmitter of the main unit.
