    摘要: A medicinal composition is administered orally twice a day to a patient to ameliorate the symptoms related to Parkinson's disease. The medicinal composition includes mixing a quantity of ibogaine, a quantity of vitamin supplements and a quantity of manufacturing additives into a heterogeneous medicinal mixture. The quantity of ibogaine, formulated as ibogaine HCl, other non-toxic salts of ibogaine (an alkaloid of the family apocynaceae), or noribogaine, its active metabolite, is an active ingredient to regulate endogenous glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF). The quantity of vitamin supplements promotes the general health and neurological functions. The quantity of manufacturing additives bonds the quantity of ibogaine and the quantity of vitamin supplements together, as well as, provides anti-adherent properties to prevent the medicinal mixture from adhering to manufacturing equipment.

    摘要: A method that facilitates identification of features in a scene enables enhanced detail to be displayed. One embodiment incorporates a multi-grid Gibbs-based algorithm to partition sets of endmembers of an image into smaller sets upon which spatial consistency is imposed. At each site within an imaged scene, not necessarily a site entirely within one of the small sets, the parameters of a linear mixture model are estimated based on the small set of endmembers in the partition associated with that site. An, enhanced spectral mixing process (SMP) is then computed. One embodiment employs a simulated annealing method of partitioning hyperspectral imagery, initialized by a supervised classification method to provide spatially smooth class labeling for terrain mapping applications. One estimate of the model is a Gibbs distribution defined over a symmetric spatial neighborhood system that is based on an energy function characterizing spectral disparities in both Euclidean distance and spectral angle.

    摘要: In a method of determining a cell friction metric for a control cell of a nuclear reactor, a channel face fast fluence and/or a channel face controlled operation parameter is determined for all channels. A total bow value is calculated for each channel based on the channel face fast fluence and/or channel face control parameters. For each channel, a channel wall pressure drop parameter is determined, and a total bulge value is calculated for each channel using the channel face fast fluence and channel wall pressure drop parameters. Total deformation at specified channel axial elevations for the cell is determined based on the total bow and bulge values. A control blade axial friction force value is calculated at each axial elevation based on the total deformation, along with channel stiffness and channel-control blade friction coefficient values. A maximum friction value is selected as the cell friction metric for the cell.

    摘要: A wavelet-based band difference-sum ratio method reduces the computation cost of classification and feature extraction (identification) tasks. A Generalized Difference Feature Index (GDFI), computed using wavelets such as Daubechies wavelets, is employed in a method to automatically generate a large sequence of generalized band ratio images. In select embodiments of the present invention, judicious data mining of the large set of GDFI bands produces a small subset of GDFI bands suitable to identify specific Terrain Category/Classification (TERCAT) features. Other wavelets, such as Vaidyanathan, Coiflet, Beylkin, and Symmlet and the like may be employed in select embodiments. The classification and feature extraction (identification) performance of the band ratio method of the present invention is comparable to that obtained with the same or similar data sets using much more sophisticated methods such as discriminants, neural net classification, endmember Gibbs-based partitioning, and genetic algorithms.
